NTRVSTA wrote this Metaview vs BrightHire comparison. We make a competing product, so we only use facts from Metaview's and BrightHire's own sites and public news, and we include a third option at the end. Metaview's sourcing prices are public; BrightHire's are not.
The short answer
Metaview vs BrightHire is a comparison between two interview-intelligence companies that have grown in different directions. Metaview has become an "Agentic Recruiting Platform" with modular agents for sourcing, application review, screening, notes, reports and outreach, and it publishes per-user sourcing prices. BrightHire, now owned by Zoom, stays closer to its roots: notes, scorecards and coaching on human interviews, plus an AI application reviewer and an async AI screen. Pick Metaview for one modular agent platform that includes sourcing. Pick BrightHire if you want deep interview intelligence across many ATSs and video platforms.
Side by side: Metaview vs BrightHire
Where Metaview is stronger
Breadth and openness on price. Metaview sells agents for most of the recruiting workflow and lets you pay only for the ones you use. Its sourcing plans are public and per user, from a free tier to an unlimited Max plan, and its pricing page says AI assistant questions and note regenerations carry no credits or usage limits.
Its Screening agent is also a live conversation rather than a recorded one. Metaview says the voice screen adapts to the role and to each answer, can include role-plays and code to explain or debug, and returns a recording, summary and rubric score for a human to decide on. It says screening works in most major languages, naming English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Hindi and Arabic. The September 2026 Series C gives it fresh capital to keep building.
Where BrightHire is stronger
Coverage of the systems you already use. BrightHire lists 18 ATS and HR integrations, from Workday and iCIMS to Bullhorn and Fountain, against Metaview's five, and works across Zoom, Google Meet and Teams. For a company with an older or less common ATS, that list can decide it.
BrightHire also goes further on interviewer quality, with coaching and analytics on human interviews, and on application review: BrightHire Inbound reviews every application against a rubric drafted from the job description, shows evidence per requirement and flags fraud, without advancing or rejecting anyone by itself. BrightHire says Screen has had an independent AI bias audit (auditor not named) and that most customers set up in under a day. Zoom ownership adds stability for buyers who worry about vendor risk.
Pricing compared
Metaview publishes sourcing seats: $0 for the first 100 sourced profiles, $100 per user per month for 200 profiles a month, and $300 per user per month for unlimited profiles. The full Agentic Recruiting Platform, including application review, notes and reports, is a custom quote, and the pricing page shows no paid rate for Screening. BrightHire publishes no figures. It prices Inbound by applicant volume, Screen by interview volume and Interview Intelligence by company size, and says bundling all three lowers the cost.

Questions

Does Metaview have a free plan?

Which one runs a live AI interview?
Metaview's Screening agent, launched September 2026, holds a real-time two-way voice conversation that adapts to answers. BrightHire Screen is a two-way voice or video AI interview that candidates complete asynchronously, with follow-up and probing logic generated from the job description.
