Juicebox vs NTRVSTA: AI sourcing tool or AI Head of Talent?

Juicebox finds people. Carolina runs the hiring process after that. Here is how to tell which one your team is missing.

Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this Juicebox vs NTRVSTA comparison, and we make one of the two products. Everything we say about Juicebox comes from Juicebox's own site, its blog and press coverage, all listed under Sources.

Juicebox vs NTRVSTA is mostly a question of where your hiring gets stuck. Juicebox is a sourcing tool: it searches a large profile index and sends outreach. NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring. Its agent, Carolina, sources and reaches out too, but it also scores resumes, runs live AI interviews and schedules the next round, inside the ATS you already use.

The short answer

Choose Juicebox if your bottleneck is finding people. It publishes an 800M-profile index, natural-language search and per-seat plans from a free tier. Choose NTRVSTA if you can find people but lose days screening, interviewing and scheduling them, and you want one agent to handle those steps with approvals you set.

How NTRVSTA works

You give Carolina an open role. It sources candidates and contacts them by email, SMS or WhatsApp. When resumes arrive, it scores and ranks each one against the job and tells you why someone sits where they do. Strong candidates get a live AI interview, as a video avatar or audio only, that adapts its questions to each answer. It handles technical and non-technical roles, runs 24/7 and works in multiple languages. You get a score breakdown, video snippets and a report you can share.

Carolina then books interviews and panels on your calendar. You can ask it pipeline questions in plain English, and it sends a morning digest in Slack or Microsoft Teams. Every action has a guardrail you choose: suggest, ask first, or auto. Offers and compensation changes always wait for a person. NTRVSTA connects to the systems you already run (see Greenhouse or Ashby), and setup takes a few days, depending on customization.

How Juicebox works

Juicebox says recruiters describe a role in natural language and Juicebox Search returns a ranked pool from 800M profiles drawn from 30+ data sources. From there, recruiters build AI-personalized email sequences that send from Gmail or Outlook. Juicebox Agents, a paid add-on, keep sourcing in the background and can auto-email or auto-shortlist the people they find.

Juicebox is well funded. Its blog lists a $36M raise led by Sequoia in September 2025 and an $80M Series B in March 2026. On October 6, 2026, Juicebox said it had reached an agreement to acquire Fetcher's assets, and its post doesn't say the deal has closed. Fetcher is retiring its platform, and Juicebox is inviting Fetcher customers to move over.

When Juicebox is the better choice

  • Your hard part is search: niche skills, small markets, or roles where you need a deep profile index and filters. Juicebox publishes one, and we don't.
  • You want one cheap seat for a solo recruiter, with no interviewing or scheduling needed.
  • You were a Fetcher customer and want the path Juicebox has set up for you before the November 19 offer ends.
  • Your outreach is email-only and your team already interviews every candidate itself.

Here is where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit, in general. We are newer and smaller than the big players, with no published customer case studies yet. We're not an ATS or a system of record. We don't publish a proprietary profile database, so database-first tools like Juicebox, SeekOut or hireEZ go deeper on pure search. For very high-volume hourly hiring built on SMS apply, Paradox, Fountain or Workstream fit better.

Pricing compared

Juicebox prices per seat. Starter is $99 per seat a month billed annually ($119 monthly) with 500 contact credits. Growth is $179 billed annually ($199 monthly) per seat, for up to 5 seats. Business is a custom annual contract and is where ATS or CRM sync lives. Juicebox Agents cost $199 per agent a month. A three-recruiter team on Growth with annual billing pays $537 a month before any agents.

NTRVSTA's plans are listed on our pricing section and sized by AI interviews per month, not seats:

  • Starter: $0, covering one open role and 10 AI interviews, with no card needed.
  • Team: $490/mo billed annually or $590 monthly, with 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, and up to 10 seats.
  • Scale: $1,490/mo billed annually or $1,790 monthly, with 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
  • Enterprise and agencies: quoted per hire or per seat.

The math: Team on annual billing works out to about $8.17 per included interview, and Scale to about $5.96. An AI interview is one live session of up to 60 minutes, and annual billing saves about 17%. The two prices buy different work, so compare each against what that step costs you now.

Who should pick which

  • If recruiters spend most of their week hunting for profiles, pick Juicebox.
  • If you get enough applicants but screening and first rounds pile up, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If candidates expect a text or WhatsApp message instead of email, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you want to start free with one recruiter and search only, pick Juicebox.
  • If a hiring manager in New York City asks for a published bias audit on AI interviews, pick NTRVSTA.

Questions

Is Juicebox the same as PeopleGPT?

PeopleGPT is the name Juicebox uses for its natural-language search. You describe the person you want in plain English, and it returns a ranked pool from the 800M profiles Juicebox says it indexes across 30+ data sources.

Does Juicebox interview candidates?

No. Juicebox does not publish an AI interviewer or interview scheduling. Its product covers search, outreach and background sourcing agents. NTRVSTA runs live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio and books panels on your calendar.

What happened between Juicebox and Fetcher?

On October 6, 2026, Juicebox said it had reached an agreement to acquire Fetcher's assets. Its post does not say the deal has closed. Fetcher is retiring its platform over the coming weeks, and Juicebox is offering Fetcher customers setup help and an offer that runs through November 19.

Can I use Juicebox and NTRVSTA together?

Yes, and some teams will. Juicebox can fill the top of the funnel with profiles and email sequences, while Carolina scores the people who apply or reply, interviews them and schedules the next round inside your ATS. Check which ATS each tool connects to before you plan the handoff.

Curious what happens after the search? Book a demo and we'll run Carolina on one of your open roles, or try a sample AI interview first. Audit details are on our compliance page.

We checked pricing and features for both products on November 1, 2026. They change often, so confirm with each vendor before you buy.
