A quick disclosure before the list: NTRVSTA wrote this guide, and we sell one of the eight products in it. We stuck to what each vendor publishes about itself, linked every source at the end, and ranked our own tool where it honestly belongs for this topic, which is not first.
TL;DR
The best AI recruiting software for you depends on how much of the hiring funnel you want one vendor to run. Full suites cover sourcing through scheduling, conversational ATS tools own high-volume apply flows, and point tools fix a single stage. Decide that first, and the AI hiring software shortlist gets short fast.
- Best for an enterprise talent-intelligence suite with an AI interviewer included: Eightfold
- Best for chat and SMS hiring at frontline volume, especially on Workday: Paradox
- Best for an agent platform that grew out of interview notes: Metaview
- Best for adding a live, adaptive interview step to the ATS you already have: NTRVSTA (us)
- Best for a low-cost ATS with AI scoring built in: Manatal
The picks at a glance
What actually matters when choosing AI recruiting software
Map your funnel before you take a demo. Write down where candidates actually stall: not enough applicants, too many unqualified ones, slow phone screens, or a scheduling backlog. Then match tools to that stage. A sourcing tool won't fix a screening bottleneck, and a full suite is a lot of change if only one step is broken.
Next, decide whether you're replacing your ATS or adding to it. Paradox, Fountain, Humanly and Manatal can act as the system of record. Eightfold and Metaview usually sit on top of one. Juicebox and NTRVSTA plug into a single stage. Replacing an ATS means migration, retraining and new reporting, so be honest about the appetite for that.
Finally, read the fine print on scoring. AI recruiting software ranks people, and that's where legal risk sits. Ask how scores are produced, whether a person reviews them, and whether the vendor has a published bias audit. Our guides to AI resume screening and AI bias audits list the questions to ask.
1. Eightfold
Eightfold sells a talent-intelligence platform that matches people to roles across hiring and internal mobility, and since October 2025 it has included an AI Interviewer. Eightfold says the interviewer adapts its questions over video, audio or text and can combine screening, coding, soft-skills and language checks into one session. A separate AI Interview Companion supports interviews that people run.
The platform is aimed squarely at the enterprise, and its published customers include Vodafone, HSBC and the U.S. Department of Defense. It lists SOC 2 Type II, FedRAMP Moderate and ISO/IEC 42001. Buyers should know about Kistler v. Eightfold AI, a class action filed in January 2026 over candidate Match Scores under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The case was at the motion-to-dismiss stage when we looked. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: global enterprises that want sourcing, matching, internal mobility and AI interviewing from one vendor.
2. Paradox (Olivia)
Paradox's assistant, Olivia, runs candidate conversations by chat and text message. Paradox says Olivia handles applications, screening questions, interview scheduling, hiring events, onboarding steps and surveys, and detects 100+ languages. Paradox also sells a Conversational ATS and a career-site builder.
Paradox has been part of Workday since October 1, 2025, when Workday completed the acquisition, though paradox.ai still runs under its own brand. Olivia doesn't hold a spoken or video interview; its strength is moving large numbers of applicants from apply to scheduled in a few text exchanges. Pricing isn't published. See Paradox alternatives if you're weighing a switch.
Best for: retail, restaurant, franchise and healthcare employers hiring hourly staff at volume, especially those on Workday.
3. Metaview
Metaview has moved from interview notetaker to what it calls an "Agentic Recruiting Platform." Metaview says it offers separate agents for sourcing, application review, screening, interview notes, reports and outreach, plus an autonomous recruiting coworker it calls fillmore. You can start with one agent and add others.
Sourcing pricing is public at $0, $100 and $300 per user per month, and the rest is custom. Metaview raised a $60M Series C led by Insight Partners on September 30, 2026, and acquired the recruiting startup Reval. It integrates with Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Gem and SmartRecruiters.
Best for: in-house recruiting teams at tech companies that want to add AI one agent at a time on top of their ATS.
4. NTRVSTA (us)
NTRVSTA isn't a full suite, which is why it's fourth here. It does two jobs: AI resume scoring that ranks every applicant against your job description, and a live AI interview for the people at the top of that list. The interviewer appears as a video avatar or speaks as audio only, adapts its questions and difficulty to each answer, and handles both technical and non-technical roles, from Python and system design on a whiteboard to STAR behavioral questions. Candidates interview 24/7.
After each interview, hiring managers get a shareable report with a score breakdown, highlights and video snippets. Plans are public, from a $0 Free Demo to Starter at $299/mo, with Enterprise options for SSO/SAML and on-prem. Our independent NYC Local Law 144 bias audit (Asenion, finalized October 20, 2026) is on our compliance page.
Where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit: if you want one platform to replace your ATS, CRM and scheduling, look at the suites above. We integrate with your ATS (Lever and others), but the list is short, there's no public API yet, and we're not built for SMS-first hourly hiring.
Best for: teams happy with their ATS whose bottleneck is the first-round interview.

5. Humanly
Humanly has grown into an end-to-end suite largely by acquisition. It bought Teamable in 2024, announced Sprockets, Qualifi and HourWork in October 2025, and GeekWire reported its Anthill deal in 2026. Humanly says the suite now covers an AI Recruiter, AI Interviewer, AI Notetaker, Talent CRM and ATS.
Humanly says it engages applicants by SMS, email, chat and voice, runs structured interviews over chat, voice and video that ask every candidate the same questions, and hands recruiters a ranked shortlist with transcripts. It connects to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, UKG and iCIMS. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: high-volume and frontline employers that want one vendor for engagement, screening and scheduling.
6. Fountain
Fountain is a full hiring stack for frontline work: ATS, CRM, sourcing, onboarding and shift scheduling, coordinated by an agent it calls Cue. Its voice interviewer, Anna, screens by phone or browser and returns a score, transcript and recording. Fountain says it connects to 40+ HR, scheduling and background-check systems.
Published customers include Bojangles, Stitch Fix and Fetch. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: QSR, logistics and gig employers that want hiring and onboarding in one place.
7. Juicebox
Juicebox, also called PeopleGPT, is a sourcing tool. Juicebox says you describe a role in plain language and it returns a ranked pool from 800M+ profiles across 30+ data sources, then writes personalized outreach. Juicebox Agents can keep sourcing in the background. It doesn't interview anyone, so most teams pair it with a screening step.
Pricing is public: a free plan, Starter at $99 to $119 per seat per month, Growth at $179 to $199, and $199 per month for each Agent.
Best for: recruiters and startups that need more qualified people at the top of the funnel.
8. Manatal
Manatal is an ATS with AI built in. Manatal says it recommends and scores candidates against your job descriptions, parses and enriches resumes, and offers an AI Copilot. A paid AI Interviewer add-on, described as beta in January 2026, runs asynchronous video screens with up to 10 custom questions.
It's one of the few tools here with a per-user price on the website: $15, $35 or $55 per user per month on annual plans, with a 14-day free trial.
Best for: small agencies and SMB teams that want an inexpensive ATS with AI scoring.
Our pick
- Enterprise, global, and buying for years: Eightfold, after legal reviews the Match Score case.
- Thousands of hourly applicants a month: Paradox if you run Workday, Fountain if you want onboarding and shifts too.
- Tech company adding AI one stage at a time: Metaview, with Juicebox for sourcing.
- Your ATS is fine but first-round interviews eat recruiter time: NTRVSTA.
- Small agency on a tight budget: Manatal.
Questions
What is AI recruiting software?
It's any hiring software that uses AI to do recruiting work: finding candidates, writing outreach, ranking applicants, running screens or interviews, or scheduling. Some products cover all of it, and others handle a single stage and connect to your ATS.
Do I need to replace my ATS to use AI hiring software?
Usually not. Many tools here, including Metaview, Juicebox and NTRVSTA, connect to the ATS you already use. Paradox, Fountain, Humanly and Manatal can serve as the ATS themselves, which makes sense mainly if your current one doesn't fit.
Which AI recruiting software publishes its prices?
Of the eight here, Manatal, Juicebox and NTRVSTA publish full plan prices, and Metaview publishes its sourcing tiers. Eightfold, Paradox, Humanly and Fountain ask you to contact sales.
What's the biggest risk with AI recruiting tools?
Scoring people unfairly without anyone noticing. Ask every vendor how scores are made, keep a human responsible for each decision, and prefer vendors that publish an independent bias audit. Track pass rates by group in your own data too.
If the interview stage is where your funnel slows down, book a 20-minute demo to see a live adaptive AI interview, or take a sample interview yourself. You may also like our lists of AI recruiting tools and high-volume hiring software.
