NTRVSTA wrote this Hireflix vs Willo comparison. We make a competing product, so we only use facts from Hireflix's and Willo's own sites and public news, and we include a third option at the end.
Hireflix vs Willo is a matchup between two European one-way video screening tools, Hireflix from Spain and Willo from the UK. Both let candidates record answers on any device without booking a call, and both publish prices. Hireflix's pitch is focus: one-way video, every feature on every plan, nothing else. Willo's is range: more answer types, an assessment library, AI insights and optional identity checks.
The short answer
Choose Hireflix if you want the simplest one-way video tool at a low flat price, with unlimited users, positions and responses, invites by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and a free first month. Choose Willo if you want candidates to answer in writing or multiple choice too, need ready-made assessments and AI summaries, or want ID and right-to-work checks in the same flow. Larger employers that need SSO and deep ATS integrations will look at Willo Enterprise.
Side by side: Hireflix vs Willo
Where Hireflix is stronger
Hireflix is hard to beat on simplicity and cost for a small team. Its pricing page says every plan includes all features with unlimited user seats, unlimited positions and unlimited interview responses. You build an interview once, share an apply link or bulk-invite from a CSV, and candidates record on any device with no app, login or registration. White label and custom domains are included.
Two practical details stand out. Hireflix sends invitations and reminders by WhatsApp as well as email and SMS, which helps in markets where candidates rarely check email. And it connects to a broad set of startup and mid-market ATS platforms on every plan, not only the top tier: Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Workable, Teamtailor and more, plus Zapier, Make and a GraphQL API with webhooks. Hireflix lists SOC 2, GDPR, SSO, audit logs and automatic video deletion.
Where Willo is stronger
Willo goes beyond video. A single screening can mix recorded video with written answers, file uploads and multiple-choice questions, and the 1,500+ assessment library saves writing questions from scratch. Willo Intelligence summarizes and transcribes responses, benchmarks candidates and suggests follow-up questions, while Willo stresses that people make the decisions.
For UK employers, Willo's verification add-ons are the clearest difference: ID, right-to-work and background checks, bought on credits. Willo also offers 24/7 candidate support, custom scorecards, anti-cheat settings and, on Enterprise, ISO 27001, SSO, MFA, a dedicated customer success manager and 50+ native integrations including Workday and SAP SuccessFactors. Hireflix lists none of the verification checks.
Pricing compared
Hireflix charges by company size. Small is $75 a month billed yearly for companies under 50 employees, Medium is $150 a month billed yearly for 50 to 250 employees, and Custom covers corporates, high-volume programs and agencies. Annual billing saves 50% against monthly, though the page doesn't show the monthly figures. NGOs and companies started in the last two years get 20% off the first year. Details in our Hireflix pricing guide.
Willo charges by active role or by year. Lite is £49 per live role per month (shown as $59), no contract, up to 5 live roles and 150 assessed candidates per role. Enterprise starts at £2,999 a year ($3,799), with 10% off a two-year and 15% off a three-year term, and non-profits get 50% off. Our Willo pricing guide walks through both.
For a 40-person company screening for three roles all year, Hireflix Small comes to $900 a year, while Willo Lite at $59 per role would be about $2,124. Willo Lite wins when you open a role for a month and then close it.

If you're happy with recorded answers, both of these cost less than we do, and that's a fine choice. Carolina, our agentic AI recruiter, is the step up for teams that want the first interview to be a two-way conversation, and want help filling the pipeline before it.
- Live AI interviews (video avatar or audio) that react to each answer with follow-ups and harder or easier questions.
- Candidate sourcing and outreach by email, SMS and WhatsApp.
- Ranked resumes with explanations, inside the ATS you already run.
- Starter is free for one role; Team is $490/mo billed annually (all plans).
