Full disclosure: NTRVSTA, the company behind this page, is one of the six Hireflix alternatives listed. We stuck to what each vendor publishes about itself, and the Sources section links every page we used.
Hireflix is a one-way video interview tool that stays deliberately small. You record your questions once, send a link, and candidates answer on any device without an app or an account. Every plan includes unlimited seats, positions and responses, automatic transcriptions, and invites by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Hireflix says it skips live interviews, assessments and scheduling on purpose, and its site doesn't mention AI scoring. That focus is also why teams go looking for Hireflix alternatives and competitors. Some now want AI to summarize or score the recordings. Others want a live AI interviewer that can follow up on a thin answer instead of a fixed set of prompts. A few want one-way video bundled with an ATS or identity checks. If a fast, low-cost one-way screen is all you need, Hireflix remains one of the simplest picks around.
Hireflix alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
NTRVSTA is the alternative for teams that have outgrown recorded answers. Instead of a fixed set of prompts, the candidate talks with a live AI interviewer, as a video avatar or audio only, at any time of day. It listens and adjusts: a strong answer brings a harder follow-up, a weak one brings an easier question, so you see where each candidate's skill level actually sits. It covers technical roles through an exam library and a system-design whiteboard, and non-technical roles through STAR behavioral questions and soft-skill checks. Reports include a score breakdown, video snippets of key moments and shareable candidate summaries. AI resume scoring ranks applicants before you invite anyone.
Hireflix's Small plan is $75 a month billed yearly, while our Starter plan is $299 a month for about 30 interviews, so this is a real step up in spend. It pays off when the depth saves hiring manager hours. Plans are on our pricing page, and our NYC LL144 bias audit is on the compliance page. Like Hireflix, we're not an ATS; we connect to Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Teamtailor and many more. The NTRVSTA vs Hireflix page compares the two in detail.
Best for: teams hiring engineers, analysts or customer-facing staff who need follow-up questions a recording can't ask.

2. Willo
Willo is the closest one-way peer with more built in. Candidates answer structured questions on their own time by video, writing, file upload or multiple choice, using Willo's 1,500+ ready-made assessments or your own. Its Willo Intelligence layer adds transcripts, summaries, benchmarks and suggested follow-up questions, which Willo describes as AI-assisted insights with human-led decisions. Willo Verified adds ID, right-to-work and background checks. Willo Lite costs 49 GBP per live role per month with no contract, and Enterprise starts at 2,999 GBP a year with 50+ integrations. It lists ISO 27001.
Best for: UK and European employers that want async video plus right-to-work checks.
3. Spark Hire
Spark Hire is one of the best-known one-way video brands, and it now leads with an ATS for small and medium organizations. Its video product auto-summarizes answers, scores submissions against key factors and transcribes in 50+ languages, per Spark Hire. Video interviews start at $249 a month billed annually or $299 monthly, and the Recruit Pro ATS starts at $335 a month with video and AI resume review included.
Best for: SMBs that want one-way video and an ATS from the same company.
4. Interviewer.AI
Interviewer.AI sits between Hireflix and a live AI interviewer. Its Essential plan, $199 a month, gives you AI-scored one-way video and resume screening with 50 credits. Professional, $399 a month, adds conversational avatar interviews that ask follow-up questions, plus fraud checks. Interviewer.AI says it supports 10+ languages and offers a 14-day free trial. ATS integrations are on its Enterprise plan only.
Best for: smaller teams that want AI scoring now and the option to try avatar interviews later.
5. VidCruiter
VidCruiter is the broader, more enterprise version of the one-way idea. It offers pre-recorded and live panel video, scheduling, structured interview guides, automated reference checks, skills testing, proctoring and an ATS. Its AI scores recorded answers against rubrics and writes notes, and VidCruiter says its current AI is assistive rather than autonomous. An AI Interviewer is listed as coming soon. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: public-sector and large employers that need a structured, human-led video process with heavy compliance paperwork.
6. myInterview (Radancy)
myInterview is now part of Radancy, which announced the acquisition in September 2025. The old domain redirects to Radancy's Screening and Scheduling product. Radancy says it uses conversational AI agents to screen candidates and answer their questions, with optional one-way video (or voice or text answers) turned into scores, and an AI agent that books interviews across Outlook, Google Calendar and Teams. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: employers already buying Radancy's Talent Acquisition Cloud.
When to stay with Hireflix
Hireflix is still a smart choice for many small teams. Its Small plan is $75 a month billed yearly and Medium is $150, each with unlimited seats, positions and responses. It works on any device without an app or login, offers the candidate experience in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Finnish, Polish, German and 10 more languages, and lists SOC 2, SSO and automatic video deletion. It connects to Lever, Greenhouse, Workable, Ashby and others, plus Zapier, Make and a GraphQL API. New companies and nonprofits can get 20% off the first year. If your screen is mostly "can this person communicate clearly and are they a basic fit," you may not need more.

Questions
What is the main difference between Hireflix and its competitors?
Hireflix focuses only on one-way video and doesn't mention AI features on its site. Spark Hire, Willo and Interviewer.AI add AI summaries, transcripts or scoring on top of recorded answers. NTRVSTA and Interviewer.AI's Professional plan go further, with an AI interviewer that holds a live conversation and asks follow-ups.
Which Hireflix alternative is cheapest?
Hireflix itself is hard to beat on price, at $75 a month billed yearly for companies under 50 employees. Among the alternatives, Willo Lite is billed per live role at 49 GBP a month, Interviewer.AI Essential is $199 a month, and Spark Hire video interviews start at $249 a month billed annually.
Should I choose a live AI interview or a one-way video interview?
It depends on the role. One-way video is quick to set up and fine for checking communication and basic fit. A live AI interview can follow up on vague answers and adjust difficulty, which matters more for technical and senior roles. Our guide on one-way vs live AI interviews covers the tradeoffs.
Do Hireflix alternatives offer free trials?
Hireflix offers a one-month free trial with no credit card. Interviewer.AI lists a 14-day free trial on paid plans, and NTRVSTA has a $0 Free Demo plan with 50 credits. Willo, Spark Hire, VidCruiter and Radancy don't list a free trial on the pages we checked.
