Hireflix does one thing: one-way video interviews. Candidates record answers on any device without an app or an account, and your team reviews and shares the recordings. Hireflix pricing follows that focus. There are no add-on modules, no usage meters and only one real question, which is how big your company is.
The short answer on Hireflix pricing
Hireflix costs $75 a month billed yearly if you have fewer than 50 employees, or $150 a month billed yearly if you have 50 to 250. Both plans include every feature with unlimited users, positions and interview responses, and both start with a free month. Bigger companies, high-volume programs and recruitment agencies get a custom quote.
What you get on each Hireflix plan
"All features" on Hireflix means video and text questions, custom intro and outro videos, per-question thinking and answer times and retakes, white label and custom domains, bulk CSV invites and a shareable apply link, invitations and reminders by email, SMS and WhatsApp, automatic transcriptions, video downloads, ATS integrations, Zapier and Make, a GraphQL API with webhooks, SSO, audit logs and automatic video deletion. Hireflix also says it is SOC 2 compliant and GDPR compliant.
What drives the price
For most buyers, the only Hireflix lever is employee count. Crossing 50 employees doubles the price from $75 to $150 a month, and crossing 250 moves you to a custom quote. Usage does not change the price on Small or Medium: a team that runs 30 interviews a year pays the same as one that runs 3,000.
The other two levers are billing period (yearly is half the monthly rate, according to Hireflix) and eligibility for the 20% first-year discount for NGOs and companies under two years old.
General levers to think about with any one-way video tool, Hireflix included:
- Review time. Flat pricing makes video cheap to send, but someone still has to watch it. That time is usually the largest cost.
- Integrations. Hireflix lists Lever, Greenhouse, Workable, Ashby, BambooHR, SmartRecruiters, Teamtailor and others, so check that yours is native before planning Zapier work.
- Agency use. Recruitment agencies are routed to the Custom plan regardless of headcount.
Questions to ask Hireflix before you buy
- What does the monthly plan cost at our size, since only the yearly price is shown?
- Does the free month require a payment method, and does it convert to yearly or monthly billing automatically?
- Which headcount does Hireflix use to place us on Small or Medium: employees, or recruiters, or locations?
- If we grow past 50 or 250 employees mid-contract, when does the price change?
- For the Custom plan, what limits would apply to positions or responses at our volume?
- How long are videos kept before automatic deletion, and can we export them in bulk before we cancel?
Cheaper or simpler options than Hireflix
Hireflix is already at the low end of published prices for one-way video, so most alternatives cost more. They're worth a look when you need something Hireflix leaves out on purpose, such as AI scoring, scheduling or live interviews.
- Willo: Lite at $59 per live role per month with no contract. Cheaper than Hireflix if you have one role live for a month or two a year; more once you have two or more live most of the year.
- Spark Hire: video interviews from $249 a month billed annually, adding live video and automated reference checks.
- Interviewer.AI: $199 a month for one-way video with AI scoring and resume screening, which Hireflix doesn't offer.
- NTRVSTA (us): free Starter for one open role and 10 AI interviews; Team is $490 a month billed annually. It costs more than Hireflix because it does a different job: a live AI interviewer that adapts to each answer and produces a scored report, plus Carolina's sourcing, resume ranking and scheduling. Does Hireflix have a free trial?
Yes. Hireflix offers one free month on its Small and Medium plans. No trial is listed for the Custom plan.
Is Hireflix cheaper monthly or yearly?
Yearly. Hireflix says annual billing saves 50% compared with monthly billing, which it offers with cancel-any-time terms. Its pricing page doesn't show the monthly price itself.
Does Hireflix limit interviews or users?
Not on Small and Medium. Hireflix says those plans include unlimited user seats, unlimited positions and unlimited interview responses, with every feature. The Custom plan has limits tailored to the customer.
Does Hireflix offer discounts?
Hireflix offers 20% off the first year for NGOs and for companies started in the last two years.
