This comparison was written by NTRVSTA, which makes a product in the same space as both vendors. We stuck to what Sense and Humanly publish themselves, plus news reports, and we add a third option at the end.
The sense vs humanly question comes up most often with staffing firms, healthcare systems and large employers that hire in volume and want AI to handle engagement and first screens. Both now describe AI recruiting agents. The cleanest split: Sense sits on your ATS and publishes what it costs, while Humanly is growing into a full suite and does not.
The short answer
Choose Sense if you are a staffing firm or an enterprise TA team that wants SMS, WhatsApp, voice and email engagement, scheduling and an AI Recruiter running on top of an ATS you keep, with starting prices published up front. Choose Humanly if you are a high-volume or frontline employer that wants structured AI interviews in chat, voice or video, a ranked shortlist, a notetaker, sourcing and optionally an ATS from one vendor.
Side by side: Sense vs Humanly
Where Sense is stronger
Sense describes its AI Recruiter as a virtual team of specialized agents for sourcing, engagement, screening and scheduling. Recruiters set the priorities and guardrails, the agents work across systems around the clock, and decisions that need a human are surfaced rather than made. Its Voice AI places real-time phone screens and returns scorecards and summaries.
- Staffing depth. Integrations with Bullhorn, JobDiva, Avionte and Labor Edge, and named customers such as ManpowerGroup, Insight Global and Staffmark.
- WhatsApp. Useful when candidates, or the people you place, prefer it to SMS.
- Published starting prices, with modular options from $500 a month.
- Governance signals. Its candidate matching carries a Warden Assured badge, though Sense doesn't present it as an NYC LL144 audit.
Where Humanly is stronger
Humanly's suite covers more of the funnel under one contract. After engaging applicants, its AI Interviewer runs structured interviews in the candidate's choice of chat, voice or video, then hands recruiters a ranked shortlist with transcripts. Its AI Notetaker carries on into the human interview rounds.
- Video as an interview format, which Sense doesn't describe for its AI interviews.
- An ATS of its own, for teams that want to consolidate.
- Integrations with Dayforce, UKG, Employ and Avature, which Sense doesn't list.
- Frontline references including MGM Resorts, Trinity Health and Fazoli's.
Pricing compared
Sense is one of the few vendors here that publishes starting prices. Its Talent Acquisition platform starts at $7,000 a month, Staffing Teams and Enterprise Staffing at $2,000, AI Recruiter at $3,000, and standalone SMS and WhatsApp messaging or interview scheduling at $500 each. Sense says each package includes a CSM, an implementation manager, three months of hypercare and 24/7 support.
Humanly doesn't publish prices, so request a quote for the same scope you priced with Sense. Make sure both quotes cover the same channels, interview minutes, integrations and seats, and ask Humanly whether its modules can be bought separately. Our Sense pricing and Humanly pricing guides have more.

A third option: NTRVSTA
NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring that works inside your existing ATS, much like Sense, but with live adaptive interviews by video avatar or audio for technical and non-technical roles. It's newer and smaller than both, with no published case studies yet. If frontline volume with chat scheduling is the core need, Sense or Humanly is the safer pick.
