Before you read on: NTRVSTA wrote this Humanly vs NTRVSTA comparison, and we're one of the two products in it. We kept every statement about Humanly to what Humanly and the press have published, and you'll find those links in the Sources list.
The short answer
Humanly and NTRVSTA overlap on one step, the AI interview, but they're shaped very differently. Choose Humanly if you hire hourly and frontline staff at volume and want one vendor for texting candidates, structured screening, scheduling, notetaking, a talent CRM and even the ATS itself. Choose NTRVSTA if you're keeping your ATS and want a live AI interviewer, as a video avatar or audio only, that adapts each question to the last answer and works for engineering roles as well as non-technical ones. NTRVSTA publishes its prices; Humanly asks you to talk to sales.
Side by side: Humanly vs NTRVSTA
How NTRVSTA works
NTRVSTA does two jobs. First, AI resume scoring ranks every applicant against your job description, so your recruiters know who to invite. Second, the invited candidate takes a live interview with an AI interviewer whenever it suits them, day or night. You decide per role whether the interviewer shows up as a video avatar (ready-made, or tailored to look like your recruiter) or speaks as audio only.
The interviewer listens and adjusts. A strong answer leads to a harder question, and a shaky one leads to an easier one, so you see where each person's ceiling is. Behavioral questions follow the STAR method, and a hint system shows how candidates use guidance. For technical hiring, the exam library covers languages like Java, Python, C++ and JavaScript, frameworks such as React, Angular and Node.js, AI/ML and DevOps tools, and system-design rounds on an interactive whiteboard.
Each report breaks the score into technical skills, English proficiency and communication, with video snippets of key moments, and you can share it with the hiring manager. Interviews can be branded, customized per role and run in multiple languages. Setup takes a few days for most teams.
How Humanly works
Humanly is a conversational hiring platform that has grown quickly by acquisition. It bought Teamable in 2024, then announced on October 14, 2025 that it had acquired Sprockets, Qualifi and HourWork. GeekWire reported in 2026 that Humanly acquired Anthill, an employee engagement company. Today Humanly pitches an end-to-end recruiting suite that includes an AI Recruiter, AI Interviewer, AI Notetaker, Talent CRM and an ATS.
Humanly says it engages applicants by SMS, email, chat and voice, then runs structured AI interviews over chat, voice and video in which every candidate gets the same structured questions. It says it screens and scores candidates, schedules interviews and hands recruiters a ranked shortlist with transcripts. Qualifi, one of the 2025 acquisitions, added phone and voice screening.
On fairness, Humanly lists bias mitigation controls, auditability and consistency, and human oversight, without naming a certification or a published NYC Local Law 144 audit. Its named customers include MGM Resorts, Mutual of Omaha, Trinity Health, POOLCORP and Fazoli's.
When Humanly is the better choice
- You hire hourly and frontline staff in large numbers and want texting, screening and scheduling handled by one vendor.
- You'd like to replace or consolidate your ATS and CRM, not just add an interview step.
- Your recruiters also want an AI notetaker for the live interviews that come later.
- You run Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG or Oracle Taleo, which Humanly lists as integrations.
That last point is part of a wider honest list of where we don't fit. NTRVSTA isn't an ATS, and our set of native ATS connections is short next to the big suites. We have no public API yet; it's listed as coming soon. Chat-based scheduling and SMS apply for hourly roles are not what we built, which is why tools like Humanly, Paradox or Fountain suit that work better. Teams that want human engineers to run interviews should look at a Karat-style service. And we're a younger, smaller company with fewer published enterprise case studies.
Pricing compared
Humanly doesn't publish pricing for its suite or for the AI Interviewer on its own. Expect a demo and a custom quote.
NTRVSTA's pricing sits in the open on our pricing section, and it's based on credits spent per interview minute. Audio uses 1 credit a minute; an avatar uses 3.
- Free Demo: $0 with 50 credits and 1 interview at a time.
- Starter: $299/mo with 1,500 credits, about 30 interviews a month, 3 at a time, email support.
- Growth: $699/mo with 4,000 credits, about 80 interviews a month, 5 at a time, priority support.
- Scale: $1,999/mo with 12,500 credits, about 250 interviews a month, 15 at a time, priority support and an SLA.
- Enterprise: custom credits, SSO/SAML, a dedicated CSM, and an on-prem option.
On Growth, 80 interviews a month comes to about $8.74 per interview, or $0.35 per minute. Length and format move that number: 25 minutes of audio costs 25 credits, and 25 minutes with an avatar costs 75. When you get Humanly's quote, ask what's priced per seat, per hire or per interview, so you can line the two up. Our guide to AI interview pricing walks through that comparison.

Questions
Is Humanly an ATS now?
Humanly lists an ATS in its suite, next to an AI Recruiter, AI Interviewer, AI Notetaker and Talent CRM. NTRVSTA is not an ATS. It adds an interview and resume-scoring layer to the ATS you already use.
Does Humanly's AI Interviewer adapt its questions?
Humanly says its AI Interviewer asks every candidate the same structured questions over chat, voice or video. We didn't find a statement about real-time adaptive follow-ups. NTRVSTA changes its next question, and its difficulty, based on each answer.
Which companies has Humanly acquired?
Humanly bought Teamable in 2024. In October 2025 it announced it had acquired Sprockets, Qualifi and HourWork, and GeekWire reported its 2026 purchase of Anthill. Qualifi added phone and voice screening to the suite.
Can I see what each costs before a sales call?
For NTRVSTA, yes: the plans and a credit calculator are public, and there's a $0 Free Demo plan. Humanly doesn't publish pricing, so you'll need a quote from its team.
