NTRVSTA wrote this GoodTime vs ModernLoop comparison. We make a competing product, so we only use facts from GoodTime's and ModernLoop's own sites and public news, and we include a third option at the end. GoodTime and ModernLoop are both scheduling specialists, and we say where each one beats us too.
The short answer
GoodTime vs ModernLoop comes down to how much of the coordinator's job you want an agent to take. Pick GoodTime if you run complex, high-volume interview loops at enterprise scale and want its agent, Cori, to schedule, reschedule, swap interviewers, chase feedback and move candidates between stages, with SOC 2 and ISO 42001 behind it. Pick ModernLoop if you are a tech-forward team that wants strong loop scheduling plus Taylor AI, an always-on phone screener for volume roles. Both sit on top of your ATS and neither publishes a price.
Side by side: GoodTime vs ModernLoop
Where GoodTime is stronger
- An agent that runs coordination end to end. GoodTime describes Cori as "Not a chatbot. Not a copilot." It schedules and reschedules, replaces interviewers who drop out, sends reminders, drafts scorecards and advances candidates, escalating anything outside the workflow you defined.
- Candidate messaging on more channels. GoodTime lists email, SMS and WhatsApp, and says Cori answers candidate questions in real time.
- Published assurance. SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3, ISO 42001 for responsible AI, EU data hosting, and a homepage statement that its AI is independently bias-audited (NYC LL144 is not named).
- A wider list of named ATS integrations, including iCIMS, Jobvite and SAP SuccessFactors, which ModernLoop doesn't list as live.
Where ModernLoop is stronger
- An AI that talks to candidates. ModernLoop says Taylor AI conducts phone screens around the clock with hundreds of simultaneous calls, assesses answers against your criteria and answers candidate questions from your knowledge base. GoodTime doesn't publish anything equivalent.
- Interviewer load management for engineering-style loops. Interviewer selection, workload balancing and scheduling queues are front and center, and its published customers (Instacart, Brex, Ramp, Benchling) skew toward tech.
- Government-cloud needs. ModernLoop says it integrates with Microsoft GCC High, plus Okta or Entra ID SSO with SAML and SCIM.
Pricing compared
Neither company lists a dollar figure. GoodTime is the more open about its model: it prices on annual candidate volume rather than on seats, and says every integration is included. That favors teams with many interviewers but a predictable number of candidates. ModernLoop publishes neither prices nor a pricing basis, so ask whether Taylor AI's phone screens are billed separately from scheduling, and whether usage is capped.
Our GoodTime pricing and ModernLoop pricing guides collect what each vendor says.
Who should pick which
- Your coordinators spend the day on reschedules and interviewer swaps across big panels: GoodTime.
- You want an AI phone screen and loop scheduling from one vendor: ModernLoop.
- You run iCIMS, Jobvite or SuccessFactors today: GoodTime names all three.
- You need GCC High support for a federal workload: ModernLoop says it has it.
- You reach candidates on WhatsApp: GoodTime lists it.
- Your procurement team asks for SOC 2 and ISO 42001 up front: GoodTime publishes both.
A third option: NTRVSTA
Scheduling specialists are the right call when coordination is your bottleneck. If the bottleneck sits earlier, in finding and screening people, NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring that works inside your existing ATS, and scheduling is one of its steps rather than the whole product. For very complex multi-day panels with interviewer load balancing, GoodTime and ModernLoop go deeper than we do.
- Our agent, Carolina, sources and contacts candidates by email, SMS and WhatsApp.
- It ranks resumes with reasons and runs live adaptive AI interviews, by video avatar or audio.
- It books interviews with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom or Calendly.
- Prices are public on our pricing page; book a demo to see it on your roles.

Questions
Is GoodTime or ModernLoop better for panel interviews?
Both are built for interview loops. GoodTime lists single-day, multi-day and panel scheduling, and says its agent Cori replaces unavailable interviewers and reschedules. ModernLoop lists interviewer selection, workload balancing and scheduling queues. Run your hardest real loop through both demos.
Does either tool interview candidates with AI?
ModernLoop says its Taylor AI conducts candidate phone screens 24/7 and can handle many calls at once. GoodTime does not publish an AI-run interview; it offers an AI notetaker for human interviews and AI-drafted scorecards.
How is GoodTime priced compared with ModernLoop?
GoodTime says its pricing is based on annual candidate volume rather than seats, with all integrations included, and shares figures on request. ModernLoop does not publish pricing or its pricing model. Neither lists a dollar amount.
Which ATS do they integrate with?
Both name Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters. GoodTime also lists iCIMS, Jobvite and SAP SuccessFactors. ModernLoop lists iCIMS as coming soon and Avature on request.
Which one publishes more security certifications?
GoodTime's homepage lists SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 reports, ISO 42001 and EU data hosting. ModernLoop links to a Trust Center and security page and mentions SSO, SAML, SCIM and Microsoft GCC High support, but names no certification on the pages we reviewed.
