GoodTime vs NTRVSTA: a scheduling agent or an end-to-end AI recruiter?

Two AI agents that sit on top of your ATS, built for different bottlenecks. Here is where each one fits.

Full disclosure: we build NTRVSTA, so you are reading a GoodTime vs NTRVSTA comparison written by one of the two vendors. Every statement about GoodTime is based on what goodtime.io publishes, and the links sit in the Sources list at the bottom.

The short answer

GoodTime and NTRVSTA both run an AI agent on top of your ATS, but they work on different stages of hiring. GoodTime's agent, Cori, is built around interview scheduling and coordination: booking loops, rescheduling, replacing interviewers and moving candidates between stages. NTRVSTA's agent, Carolina, starts earlier: it sources and contacts candidates, scores resumes, runs live AI interviews, and then books the next round. Choose GoodTime if coordinating panels across a big interviewer pool is the bottleneck; choose NTRVSTA if you need the pipeline filled and screened, with prices you can see today.

How NTRVSTA works

NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring, and we call its agent Carolina, your AI Head of Talent. You keep your ATS, HRIS, calendar and chat tools. Carolina connects to them (setup usually takes a few days, depending on customization) and works on open roles from there. It sources candidates for a role, reaches out by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and scores every resume against the job with a written reason for each ranking.

Candidates who move forward take a live AI interview whenever it suits them, day or night. The interviewer appears as a video avatar or speaks by audio, adapts its follow-up questions to each answer, and handles technical and non-technical roles in multiple languages. You get a score breakdown, video snippets of key moments and a report you can share with the hiring manager. Carolina then books the next interview or panel on your calendar.

You decide how much it does alone. Every action has a guardrail of suggest, ask first or auto, and offers or compensation changes always wait for a person. Recruiters can ask Carolina about the pipeline in plain English and get a morning digest in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

How GoodTime works

GoodTime describes itself as an interview scheduling and hiring-coordination platform. It handles single-day, multi-day and panel interviews and syncs both ways with the ATS. Its AI agent, Cori, which GoodTime calls "Not a chatbot. Not a copilot.", screens and prioritizes candidates, schedules and reschedules, replaces interviewers who become unavailable, sends reminders and follow-ups, drafts scorecards and advances candidates between stages. GoodTime says Cori escalates decisions that fall outside your defined workflows.

GoodTime does not run AI interviews. Its AI notetaker supports interviews that people conduct, and Cori answers candidate questions in real time. On compliance, GoodTime's homepage lists SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 reports, ISO 42001 certification, GDPR and CCPA support, and EU data hosting. It also says its AI is independently bias-audited, without naming NYC Local Law 144. Published customers include Lyft, Spotify, Canva, Shopify and Databricks.

When GoodTime is the better choice

  • Your hardest problem is coordination: multi-day onsites, large panels and a big interviewer pool that needs load balancing and quick replacements.
  • Your security review asks for SOC 2 Type II, ISO 42001 or EU data hosting, which GoodTime says it has.
  • Your interviews are run by people and you want an AI notetaker and drafted scorecards around them, not an AI interviewer.
  • You want a scheduling vendor with a long list of published enterprise customers.

Where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit: we are newer and smaller than GoodTime, with no published customer case studies yet. We schedule interviews and panels, but we don't publish the deep interviewer-pool tooling a dedicated coordination platform offers. NTRVSTA is not an ATS or a system of record. And if you want human recruiters doing the search, a marketplace such as Paraform or Dover fits better.

Pricing compared

GoodTime doesn't publish prices. It says pricing is based on annual candidate volume rather than seats, with all integrations included, and you get a number after a demo.

NTRVSTA's plans are on our pricing section:

  • Starter: $0 for one open role and 10 AI interviews, no card required.
  • Team: $490/mo billed annually or $590 billed monthly, with 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, up to 10 seats.
  • Scale: $1,490/mo billed annually or $1,790 billed monthly, with 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
  • Enterprise and agencies: priced per hire or per seat.

The per-interview math: Team on annual billing works out to about $8.17 per interview if you use all 60, and Scale on annual billing comes to about $5.96 per interview at 250. An AI interview is one live session of up to 60 minutes, and annual billing saves about 17%.

Who should pick which

  • If interview loops with five or more interviewers keep slipping, pick GoodTime.
  • If your pipeline is thin and you need candidates found and contacted, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you want first-round screens run by a live AI interviewer instead of a recruiter call, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you need SOC 2 Type II or ISO 42001 paperwork in the first security review, pick GoodTime.
  • If finance needs a published price before a pilot, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you run both a heavy loop calendar and a sourcing gap, the two can sit side by side on the same ATS.

Questions

Does GoodTime have an AI interviewer?

No, not from what GoodTime publishes. Its AI notetaker supports interviews that people run, and Cori drafts scorecards and answers candidate questions. NTRVSTA runs the interview itself, live, as a video avatar or by audio.

Is GoodTime's Cori an AI recruiter?

GoodTime positions Cori as an agent that screens, prioritizes, schedules, follows up and advances candidates, with escalation to people. It does not source new candidates. NTRVSTA's Carolina also sources, runs outreach and interviews before scheduling.

How much does GoodTime cost?

GoodTime doesn't publish prices. It says pricing depends on annual candidate volume, not seats, and includes all integrations. NTRVSTA lists its plans publicly, from a free Starter plan to Scale at $1,490/mo billed annually.

Can I use GoodTime and NTRVSTA together?

Yes. Both sit on top of your ATS rather than replacing it. Some teams could use NTRVSTA to source, score and run first-round AI interviews, and GoodTime to coordinate the later human loops. Check with both vendors how each writes back to your ATS.
