Spark Hire Pricing (2026): Plans, Costs and What You Actually Pay

Spark Hire publishes starting prices for all three of its products. The catch is the word "starting", so here is what moves the number.

NTRVSTA wrote this page. We make a competing product, so we stick to Spark Hire's own published pricing and say where it isn't published.

Spark Hire is unusual among video interview vendors: it puts real starting prices on its site for every product it sells. This Spark Hire pricing guide lays those prices out, explains why your quote may land higher, and lists what to ask before you commit to a year.

The short answer on Spark Hire pricing

Spark Hire sells three things. Video Interviews and the Behavioral Assessment each start at $249 a month billed annually, or $299 month to month with a cap of five jobs and five users. Its applicant tracking system (Recruit) starts at $335 a month for Pro and $499 a month for Growth, billed annually, for companies up to 50 employees, with Enterprise quoted by sales. Prices rise with company size, so treat every number as a floor.

What drives the price

Spark Hire names its own levers clearly:

  • Company size. "Pricing varies by company size" on the video and assessment plans. On the ATS, the starting prices cover up to 50 employees and scale with headcount from there.
  • Billing term. Monthly video and assessment plans cost $50 a month more at the starting tier and cap you at five jobs and five users. The ATS is annual only.
  • Add-ons. API access, single sign-on and additional brands are paid add-ons on the video and assessment plans. Integrations with Dayforce, UKG Pro and Workday also need a paid add-on. On the ATS, an AI notetaker is an add-on on every tier, and API and SSO are add-ons on Pro and Growth.
  • Bundles. Spark Hire says buying Video Interviews and Behavioral Assessment together saves money, but you need a demo to see the bundle price.

General levers that apply to most hiring software, Spark Hire included: how many roles you hire for at once, whether you need a named integration, and whether security review or custom contract terms are part of the deal (Spark Hire handles legal redlines and security questionnaires only on Enterprise).

Questions to ask Spark Hire before you buy

  1. At our current headcount, what is the actual monthly price, not the starting price?
  2. Does our ATS need the paid integration add-on (Dayforce, UKG Pro or Workday), and what does it cost?
  3. If we start monthly and switch to annual, does any of the first months' spend count toward the annual price?
  4. What does the Video Interviews and Behavioral Assessment bundle cost compared with buying them separately?
  5. How fast do we hit the AI resume review cap on Recruit Pro at our applicant volume, and what happens after?
  6. Spark Hire keeps data for up to 30 days after cancellation on the video and assessment plans. How do we export recordings before then?
  7. Will the price at renewal be capped, given there are no refunds and cancellation is at term end?

Cheaper or simpler options than Spark Hire

These fit buyers who mainly want Spark Hire's video product. If you need a full ATS, compare ATS vendors instead, since several of the tools below (and ours) are not systems of record.

  • Hireflix: one-way video at $75 a month billed yearly (under 50 employees) or $150 (50 to 250), with unlimited seats, positions and responses and a free first month.
  • Willo: Willo Lite is $59 per live role per month in US dollars (£49 in the UK), pay as you go, up to five live roles. Willo Enterprise starts at $3,799 a year.
  • Interviewer.AI: $199 a month for AI-scored one-way video with resume screening, or $399 a month to add avatar interviews that ask follow-ups.
  • VidCruiter: pricing not published; it sells one-way and live video, scheduling, references and an ATS by quote. More of a fit for large or public-sector employers.
  • NTRVSTA (us): free Starter plan for one role and 10 AI interviews, then Team at $490 a month billed annually. A different approach: live AI interviews that adapt to each answer instead of recorded responses, plus sourcing, resume ranking and scheduling inside the ATS you already have. Not a fit if you want Spark Hire's ATS itself.

Questions

How much does Spark Hire cost per month?

Spark Hire's video interview plan starts at $249 a month billed annually or $299 month to month. Its Behavioral Assessment has the same starting prices. Its ATS plans start at $335 a month (Recruit Pro) and $499 a month (Recruit Growth), billed annually, with Recruit Enterprise priced by sales.

Does Spark Hire have a free trial?

Spark Hire's pricing page doesn't mention a free trial. It offers demos, and monthly video and assessment plans that you can cancel at the end of the term.

Why does Spark Hire say "starting at"?

Spark Hire says pricing varies by company size. For its ATS, the $335 and $499 starting prices apply to companies with up to 50 employees, and the price rises with employee count above that.

Can you pay for Spark Hire monthly?

Yes for video interviews and behavioral assessment, which start at $299 a month on monthly billing with limits of five jobs and five users. No for the ATS: Spark Hire says all Recruit plans are annual contracts only.

Does Spark Hire offer refunds?

Spark Hire's pricing page says it does not offer refunds because service starts when you pay. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term, and downgrades take effect at renewal.
