CoderPad Pricing (2026): Plans, Costs and What You Actually Pay

CoderPad's four plans, what each interview really costs at full use, and the Enterprise-only features that change the math.

NTRVSTA wrote this page. We make a competing product, so we stick to CoderPad's own published pricing and say where it isn't published.

CoderPad pricing is fully public up to Enterprise, which makes it easy to compare. You pay for a yearly or monthly allowance of interviews and tests, not for seats, and you choose how much AI the candidate gets inside the pad. Below is every plan as CoderPad listed it on November 1, 2026, plus the per-interview math the page doesn't do for you.

The short answer: what CoderPad costs

CoderPad Starter is $80 a month billed annually (or $120 month to month), Team is $400 a month annually ($500 monthly), and Frontier Lite is $1,000 a month with annual billing only. Enterprise is a custom quote. Every plan includes unlimited users, and anything past your allowance costs $30 per test or interview. Annual plans are billed once, upfront.

What you get on each CoderPad plan

Team$400/mo billed annually; $500/mo monthly360 interviews a year (30 a month on monthly); everything in Starter plus 1,400+ questions, 20 custom questions, take-homes and auto-scored screens; models up to Sonnet class, no Claude Code or CodexGrowing engineering teams adding async screens
Frontier Lite$1,000/mo, annual billing only360 interviews a year; Claude Code and Codex in the pad; frontier models; AI summaries and transcripts; 5M tokens per interview; 100 custom questionsTeams that want to see how candidates work with AI coding agents

CoderPad cost per interview

Our math, assuming you use the full allowance. Annual totals come from multiplying the monthly-equivalent price by 12, which matches CoderPad's upfront annual billing:

Plan and billingMathAbout per interview
Team, annual$4,800 / 360$13.33
Starter, annual$960 / 60$16.00
Team, monthly$500 / 30$16.67
Starter, monthly$120 / 5$24.00
Overage, any planflat$30.00
Frontier Lite, annual$12,000 / 360$33.33

Frontier Lite costs more per interview because you're paying for frontier models and agent tooling inside the pad, not more volume. If your interviews don't need Claude Code or Codex, Team covers the same 360 a year for less.

What drives the price

  • Interview volume. Plans are sized by interviews and tests per year or month, with $30 overage.
  • AI package. Starter and Team use the standard package and models up to Sonnet class. Frontier Lite and Enterprise add frontier models, coding agents and bigger token budgets.
  • Billing term. Annual saves $40 a month on Starter and $100 a month on Team versus monthly. Frontier Lite has no monthly option.
  • Enterprise-only features. ATS integrations, SSO, API access and webcam proctoring only appear on Enterprise.

Generally, for any coding interview tool (not something CoderPad specifically states), the hidden cost is interviewer time: a live pad still needs an engineer in the room for every session.

Questions to ask CoderPad before you buy

  1. Does an async screen and a live interview each use one unit from the same allowance?
  2. Do unused annual interviews roll over at renewal?
  3. Can we get Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or Workday integration without moving to Enterprise?
  4. Is the Qualify AI video pre-screen included in any plan, or priced separately?
  5. What does a Frontier Pro or Max upgrade cost over standard Enterprise?
  6. Can we export session recordings and playback if we leave?

Cheaper or simpler options than CoderPad

CoderPad's Starter plan is already one of the lowest entry prices in technical hiring. Alternatives worth a look, with prices from their own sites:

  • CodeSignal: Build at $79 a month billed annually or $99 monthly, with its own AI Interviewers on product, design and engineering roles.
  • HackerRank: Starter at $199 a month or $1,990 a year for 60 attempts, and Pro at $449 a month with ATS integrations.
  • Codility: Online plans from $4,800 a year or $800 a month for 25 invites. See our Codility pricing guide and Codility vs CoderPad.
  • NTRVSTA (us): instead of a pad with a human interviewer, an AI interviewer runs the first round live and adapts to each answer, for technical and non-technical roles, with sourcing and scheduling included. It doesn't replace a live pair-programming session with your own engineers. Starter is $0 for one role with 10 AI interviews; Team is $490 a month billed annually. Plans are on our pricing section.
