NTRVSTA wrote this Tenzo vs Ribbon comparison. We make a competing product, so we only use facts from Tenzo's and Ribbon's own sites and public news, and we include a third option at the end. Tenzo's claims come from its homepage, and Ribbon's deal status from the Dayforce release.
The short answer
Tenzo vs Ribbon pits a multi-agent AI recruiter against a focused AI interviewer. Tenzo, through its recruiter persona Morgan, covers phone and video interviews, resume review, fraud detection, scheduling and ATS rediscovery, says it works in 40+ languages and has 57+ two-way ATS integrations, and suits staffing agencies and high-volume employers. Ribbon is built for frontline teams that want adaptive voice or video screens, a free trial and a linked LL144 audit, and Dayforce has signed an agreement to acquire it. Pick Tenzo for breadth and languages. Pick Ribbon if you want to try it yourself first, or if you already run Dayforce.
Side by side: Tenzo vs Ribbon
Where Tenzo is stronger
Tenzo spreads more of the recruiter's day across its agents. Beyond the interview, Tenzo says Morgan reads resumes "just like a recruiter" rather than matching keywords, checks for fraud, books the next round, and writes notes and status changes back into the ATS. It also says its agents search the web and proprietary databases around the clock, on top of rediscovering past applicants.
Two published numbers stand out for agencies and multinational employers: 40+ interview languages and 57+ bi-directional ATS integrations. Tenzo describes a de-biasing layer that strips protected-class information from transcripts before scoring, lists SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR, publishes a DPA, and lets candidates opt out of the AI interview or request accommodations. Its published customers include Agilus Work Solutions and Synergie Canada.
Where Ribbon is stronger
Ribbon is the one you can test without a sales cycle, thanks to its 7-day free trial, and it describes its interviews in more detail. Ribbon and Dayforce both call them two-way and adaptive, and Ribbon's docs explain how reviewers see the recording, transcript, summary and scorecard in one place, with every criterion tied to quotes and timestamps.
It also has the clearer compliance paper trail on bias law: Ribbon links an NYC LL144 audit report, last audited in 2025, while Tenzo doesn't mention the law. For frontline employers, Ribbon's named integrations include UKG, Paycom and BambooHR. The Dayforce deal cuts both ways: it may suit Dayforce customers well, and it is a change to plan for if you don't use Dayforce.
Pricing compared
No prices are published by either. Tenzo is explicit that its quote depends on hiring volume and the roles involved. Ribbon's pricing page returned a 404 in our checks, and its homepage only points to plans sized by hiring volume, so the 7-day trial is the one concrete offer. With Tenzo, ask whether fraud checks and scheduling agents are included or priced per agent. With Ribbon, ask what changes after the acquisition closes.
We track both in Tenzo pricing and Ribbon pricing.
Who should pick which
- You hire across many countries and languages: Tenzo, with 40+ stated.

- You want one vendor for interviews, fraud checks and next-round scheduling: Tenzo.
- Your compliance team needs a vendor-linked LL144 audit: Ribbon.
- You're a Dayforce customer: Ribbon is set to become part of Dayforce recruiting.
- You want candidates contacted on WhatsApp and by phone call: both list WhatsApp; Tenzo adds outbound calls.
A third option: NTRVSTA
NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring that works within your existing ATS and calendar. Against these two, the differences are public pricing, interviews that raise or lower difficulty with each answer (useful for engineering and other skilled roles), and per-action guardrails where you choose suggest, ask first or auto. For frontline-only hiring, Ribbon and Tenzo are well suited, and we'd say so. Book a demo to compare.

Questions
What is Morgan in Tenzo?
Morgan is the name of Tenzo's AI recruiter. Tenzo says Morgan runs voice AI interviews by phone or video around the clock, and that its agents also review resumes, detect fraud, schedule next-round interviews and rediscover past applicants in your ATS.
How is Tenzo priced compared with Ribbon?
Neither publishes prices. Tenzo says pricing is scoped to your hiring volume and roles and quoted on request. Ribbon offers a 7-day free trial but lists no plan prices.
Which one has a published bias audit?
Ribbon says it has an NYC Local Law 144 bias audit, last audited in 2025, and links the report. Tenzo does not publish an LL144 audit; it describes a de-biasing layer that removes protected-class information from transcripts before evaluation.
Will Ribbon still be sold on its own after Dayforce buys it?
Dayforce has not said. Its October 23, 2026 announcement says Ribbon's technology will be integrated natively into the Dayforce Agentic Recruiting experience after the transaction closes. Ask Ribbon how existing contracts will be handled.
