SeekOut vs hireEZ (2026): Features, Pricing and Which to Pick

Two long-running sourcing brands that both now sell agents. One leans on search depth, the other on running the funnel past the first reply.

NTRVSTA wrote this SeekOut vs hireEZ comparison. We make a competing product, so we only use facts from both companies' own sites and public news, and we include a third option at the end.

SeekOut vs hireEZ is one of the oldest matchups in recruiting software. Both started as candidate search engines, both now describe themselves as agentic, and both sit on top of the ATS you already run. Where they split is how far down the funnel each agent goes before it hands work back to a recruiter.

The short answer

Pick SeekOut if search is the center of your team's day: a 1B+ profile index joined to your own ATS, diversity filters on its larger plans, and AI-written email campaigns with a recruiter signing off at each key step. Pick hireEZ if you want one agent layer that also ranks inbound applicants, runs voice or chat screens and books the interviews. SeekOut has the cheaper published entry point for a small team. hireEZ publishes a single-recruiter price and a four-week verification period for enterprise buyers.

Where SeekOut is stronger

Rediscovery is SeekOut's clearest edge. Its Sourcing + Integration plan runs one search across outside profiles and the people already sitting in your ATS, and it adds market intelligence for planning where to look. For teams with years of past applicants, that can surface finalists who were never rejected for skill, only for timing.

  • A longer published ATS list, including Avature, Beamery, Gem, Jobvite, Phenom and Talemetry, which matters if your stack is less common.
  • A low-cost way in: Sourcing Core covers three seats, 500 contact credits and 1,000 exports a month.
  • Compliance paperwork on the homepage: a SOC 2 Type II badge, a GDPR badge, and "regular third-party bias audits" with the latest dated September 2025.
  • A design that keeps recruiters in charge: SeekOut says they approve or adjust at every critical step.

Where hireEZ is stronger

hireEZ goes further past sourcing. Its EZ Agent reads and ranks every application, then runs a conversational screen by phone or chat using questions your team writes, and its integrity report flags answers that look AI-assisted or voices that don't match. After that, the AI Scheduler finds times across calendars, pulls panels together and handles reschedules inside the rules you set.

  • More outreach channels: email, SMS and LinkedIn InMail in one sequence.
  • Scheduling is part of the product, where SeekOut doesn't publish a scheduling feature.
  • A long security list: SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, a GDPR validation letter from TrustArc dated October 31, 2025, CCPA and OFCCP record-keeping support.
  • A trial built for enterprise buyers: a four-week verification with working sessions before anyone signs.

Pricing compared

SeekOut's pricing page lists Sourcing Core at $149 a month billed annually upfront ($1,788 a year) or $179 billed monthly, with three seats included. Its Sourcing plan is priced per seat with 750 contacts per seat each month, and Sourcing + Integration and Full Recruiting Funnel are custom quotes billed annually. The AI Screening add-on has no listed price; it's included in Full Recruiting Funnel. See our SeekOut pricing guide for the plan-by-plan detail.

hireEZ lists a Solo recruiter plan from $494 a month with a 7-day trial. Enterprise pricing isn't published; hireEZ says it's configured against the stack it replaces. Our hireEZ pricing guide lists the questions worth asking before that quote arrives. One practical point: SeekOut's entry price covers three seats while hireEZ's covers one recruiter, so compare cost per seat, not sticker price.

Who should pick which

  • If your recruiters spend most of the day building searches and want fine filters, start with SeekOut.
  • If inbound volume is the bottleneck and you need every applicant ranked and screened, start with hireEZ.
  • If candidates reply to texts faster than email, hireEZ's SMS sequences fit better.
  • If your ATS is Avature, Beamery or Talemetry, SeekOut names it and hireEZ doesn't.
  • If your security review asks for ISO 27001, hireEZ lists it on its site.
  • If you're a team of three on a tight budget, SeekOut's Sourcing Core is the smaller commitment.

A third option: NTRVSTA

If the choice between SeekOut and hireEZ is really a question of how much of the requisition you want an agent to run, NTRVSTA is worth one demo. Our agent, Carolina, works inside the ATS you keep, from sourcing through a live interview to a booked panel. It doesn't publish a profile database, so teams that mainly need deep search should stick with one of the two above. Book a demo to see it on one of your open roles.

  • Outreach by email, SMS and WhatsApp.
  • Live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio, covered by an NYC LL144 audit on our compliance page.
  • Guardrails per action (suggest, ask first or auto), and offers always wait for a person.
  • Published plans from $0, listed on our pricing section.

Questions

Is SeekOut or hireEZ cheaper?

At the entry level, SeekOut. Its Sourcing Core plan is $149 a month billed annually and includes three seats, while hireEZ's Solo recruiter plan starts at $494 a month for one recruiter. Both companies quote enterprise plans privately, so larger teams need to compare actual quotes.

Does SeekOut or hireEZ run AI interviews?

Both offer an AI screening step. hireEZ runs conversational screens by voice or chat using your questions. SeekOut's AI Screening add-on runs video screening interviews, but SeekOut doesn't describe the format. Neither publishes that its screens adapt question difficulty to each answer.

Which has the bigger candidate database?

Both say they search 1B+ profiles. hireEZ says its profiles come from 45+ platforms. SeekOut adds your own ATS to the same search. Neither number is independently audited, so test both with a real role.

Can SeekOut or hireEZ replace my ATS?

No. Both sit on top of an existing ATS. SeekOut names Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever and others, and hireEZ names Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS and Greenhouse, among others.

We read SeekOut's and hireEZ's pricing and product pages on November 1, 2026. Vendors in this space change plans every few months, so check both sites before you sign.
