A note before you read: NTRVSTA wrote this comparison, and we're one of the six Moonhub alternatives on it. Facts about the other companies are taken from their own websites or from news reports, all linked in the Sources section.
Moonhub alternatives are worth a fresh look because Moonhub itself is gone. The company announced it was shutting down on June 2, 2025, and part of its team joined Salesforce. Salesforce was explicit that this wasn't a purchase: "Salesforce did not acquire Moonhub. The Moonhub business is winding down." Before that, Moonhub sold a hybrid. An AI agent sourced from what it called a database of 1 billion people, scored and contacted candidates around the clock, and sent AI interviews and human screens, while human talent experts guided each search. It also offered hiring and payroll in 200+ countries and pitched itself against recruiting agencies. No single tool now does all of that, so former customers usually pick the half they valued most: the experts or the AI.
Moonhub alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
We're the "keep the AI, bring your own experts" option. Carolina, our AI Head of Talent, handles the agent work Moonhub did: it sources candidates for each open role, runs outreach by email, SMS and WhatsApp, ranks every resume against the job with an explanation, and runs live AI interviews (video avatar or audio) that adapt to each answer, around the clock and in multiple languages. It then schedules interviews through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom or Calendly. Your recruiters stay in charge: each action is set to suggest, ask first or auto, and offers and comp changes always wait for a person.
What we don't do is supply human recruiters, and we don't publish a profile database the way Moonhub did. We also aren't an employer of record, though we connect to payroll and EOR systems like Deel and Remote. Our AI interviews are covered by a published NYC Local Law 144 audit on our compliance page, and pricing is public.
Best for: in-house teams that have recruiters but not enough hours for sourcing, screening and scheduling.
2. Paraform
Paraform is the closest thing to Moonhub's model today. It says it matches companies with specialized recruiters from its network, adds custom AI agents trained on its Hiring Intelligence data, and assigns a talent strategist to manage each search. Paraform calls this an "Agentic Recruiting Firm." You pay a flat percentage of first-year base salary only when someone is hired (Paraform doesn't publish the rate), with a free replacement search if a hire leaves within 90 days. It doesn't publish an AI interviewer; human recruiters do the vetting.
Best for: venture-backed startups filling hard technical or go-to-market roles. See NTRVSTA vs Paraform.
3. Dover
Dover splits Moonhub's offer differently. It runs a marketplace of fractional recruiters who work hourly, on retainer or per hire, and it publishes the cost of each marketplace hire (Dover says the average is $4.8K). Alongside that is a free ATS with job-board posting to 50+ boards, a LinkedIn sourcing extension and, on the $199-a-month Premium plan, AI applicant scoring and an AI notetaker. Interviews stay with humans. Intro calls with recruiters are free, with no long-term contract.
Best for: seed to Series B startups that also need an ATS. See NTRVSTA vs Dover.
4. Jack & Jill
Jack & Jill flips the outreach model. Jack is a free career agent that talks with job seekers, and Jill is the hiring agent: it takes your brief, builds a rubric and job description, matches the role against people who have talked to Jack, and requests an introduction only when both sides want to meet. Paid plans also search 1B+ public profiles. Jill works with you over email and in a shared Slack channel. The company raised a $40M Series A in September 2026.
Best for: UK and US startups that would rather meet opted-in candidates than send cold outreach. See NTRVSTA vs Jack & Jill.
5. Juicebox
If the thing you miss most is Moonhub's reach across a huge talent pool, Juicebox is the self-serve route. Recruiters type what they need in plain English and get a ranked list from 800M+ profiles across 30+ data sources, then send AI-personalized email sequences. Background agents ($199 per agent a month) keep sourcing and can auto-email or auto-shortlist. There are no human sourcers and no interviews, so your team does the vetting.
Best for: recruiters who want search and email outreach without an agency fee. See NTRVSTA vs Juicebox.
6. Findem
Findem covers more of Moonhub's AI side than most, at enterprise scale. It says it builds expert-labeled people data and runs named agents for sourcing, calibration, screening, scheduling and ID checks, plus AI video interviews it describes as fully autonomous. Findem announced an agreement to acquire Glider AI on March 19, 2026, and said it expected to close in the coming weeks; we found no closing announcement as of November 1, 2026. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: larger talent teams and executive search firms that want people data and agents in one suite. See NTRVSTA vs Findem.
When to stay with Moonhub
You can't. The business is winding down, and Salesforce has said it did not buy it. If you were mid-search when Moonhub closed, here's how to restart cleanly:
- Decide whether you're replacing the people (a marketplace like Paraform or Dover) or the software (an agent like NTRVSTA or a sourcer like Juicebox). Some teams pair one of each.
- Move every candidate Moonhub surfaced into your own ATS so you own that history.
- If you hired abroad through Moonhub, set up an employer of record before your next offer.
- Ask any AI vendor whether its interviews have a published bias audit, and what that audit covers.

Questions
Did Salesforce acquire Moonhub?
No. Moonhub announced it was shutting down on June 2, 2025, and part of its team joined Salesforce. Salesforce told the press that it did not acquire Moonhub and that the Moonhub business is winding down. moonhub.ai still loads with a 'Moonhub Team Joins Salesforce' banner.
Which Moonhub alternative is closest to the original service?
Paraform is the nearest match. Like Moonhub, it pairs AI matching with human recruiters and a talent strategist who manages each search, and it is paid only on a hire. Moonhub also sent AI interviews, which Paraform does not publish, so some teams add an AI interviewer alongside it.
Is there a Moonhub alternative that also runs AI interviews?
Yes. NTRVSTA runs live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio, and Findem sells autonomous AI video interviews. Paraform, Dover and Jack & Jill rely on human recruiters or introductions instead, and Juicebox is a sourcing tool without interviews.
Moonhub handled international hiring and payroll. Who does that now?
None of the six tools here is an employer of record. Moonhub said it offered hiring and payroll in 200+ countries, so you will likely need a separate EOR provider. NTRVSTA connects to payroll and EOR systems such as Deel and Remote, but it does not employ or pay anyone itself.
