Jack & Jill vs NTRVSTA: warm AI introductions or an AI recruiter for your whole pipeline?

Jill introduces you to people who already said yes to talking. Carolina runs the pipeline you already have, from sourcing to scheduled panels.

We wrote this, so weigh it accordingly: NTRVSTA is one of the two products in this Jack & Jill vs NTRVSTA comparison. All facts about Jack & Jill come from its own pages and from news coverage of its funding, listed under Sources.

The short answer

Jack & Jill and NTRVSTA both use AI agents, but they start in different places. Choose Jack & Jill if you're a startup that wants a short list of warm, double opt-in introductions to people who have already talked with its career agent, Jack. Choose NTRVSTA if you want an agent, Carolina, to run your own pipeline end to end: source and contact candidates, score every resume, interview applicants live, and book panels inside the ATS you already use.

How NTRVSTA works

NTRVSTA works from your open roles, not from a network we own. Carolina sources candidates for each role and contacts them by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Every resume is scored and ranked against the job, and Carolina explains each ranking so a recruiter can disagree with it.

Candidates who move forward take a live AI interview on their own schedule, any hour of the day. The interviewer is a video avatar or an audio voice, and its questions shift with each answer, whether the role is backend engineering or customer success. It runs in multiple languages too. Hiring managers get a score breakdown, short video clips and a report they can forward. Carolina books the next rounds on your team's calendars, answers questions about the pipeline in plain English, and posts a morning digest to Slack or Microsoft Teams.

You choose the guardrails: each action is set to suggest, ask first or auto, and offers or comp changes always wait for a person. Carolina connects to 70 systems, including Ashby, Workable, Greenhouse and Workday, and most teams are set up within a few days.

How Jack & Jill works

Jack & Jill is a London company expanding in the US through San Francisco. TechCrunch reported a $20M seed round led by Creandum in October 2025, and The Next Web reported a $40M Series A led by Air Street Capital on September 15, 2026, bringing total funding to $60M.

The product has two sides. Jack is a free career agent: candidates talk with it about what they want, and it scans jobs for them. Jill is the hiring agent. You give Jill a job description, notes or a conversation, and it sharpens the brief, writes a rubric and job description, researches your company and past hires, and matches the role against people in Jack's network. When there's a fit, and the candidate has opted in, Jill introduces you directly, including to people who aren't actively looking. Teams work with Jill over email and in a shared Slack channel, and it learns from their feedback.

Jack & Jill says 6,309 companies use Jill and more than 426,000 professionals use Jack. Paid plans add search over 1B+ public profiles and an ATS connection.

When Jack & Jill is the better choice

  • You want a few introductions to candidates who are already interested, rather than running outreach at scale.
  • Your hiring is startup tech in London, New York or San Francisco, where Jack's network is concentrated.
  • You're hiring for one or two roles and the free Meet Jill plan covers what you need.

To be straight about our limits: NTRVSTA doesn't have an opted-in candidate network, and we don't publish a profile database size, so warm intros aren't what we do. We're also newer and smaller than many vendors here, with no published customer case studies yet. NTRVSTA isn't an ATS, so you need one alongside us. And if the work you want done is very high-volume hourly hiring through SMS apply, tools built for that, like Paradox, Fountain or Workstream, fit better.

Pricing compared

Jack & Jill prices per active role. Meet Jill is $0 with 20 intro requests a month across unlimited roles. Hire Jill is $199 per active role per month on annual billing, with 50 intros a month per role, public profile search and an ATS connection. Scale Jill is custom.

NTRVSTA prices by plan, not by role. Details are on our pricing section:

  • Starter: $0, one open role, 10 AI interviews, no card required.
  • Team: $490/mo billed annually, or $590 paid monthly. 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, up to 10 seats.
  • Scale: $1,490/mo billed annually, or $1,790 paid monthly. 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
  • Enterprise and agencies: priced per hire or per seat.

An AI interview is one live session of up to 60 minutes. Team at full use comes to about $8.17 per interview on annual billing, and Scale to about $5.96 per interview. Per-role pricing suits teams with few roles; plan pricing suits teams with many roles and lots of applicants.

Who should pick which

  • If you want introductions to candidates who already said yes, pick Jack & Jill.
  • If you get hundreds of applicants and need every one scored and screened, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you want SMS and WhatsApp outreach, not only email, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you need a published NYC Local Law 144 audit for your AI interviews, pick NTRVSTA.

Questions

What is the difference between Jack and Jill?

Jack is Jack & Jill's free career agent for candidates. It talks with people about what they want and scans jobs for them. Jill is the hiring agent for companies. It builds a brief and rubric for your role, matches it against people who have spoken with Jack, and introduces you when both sides are interested.

Does Jack & Jill interview my applicants?

Not in the sources we checked. Jack holds conversations with candidates in its own network and offers them mock interviews, but Jack & Jill doesn't describe screening interviews for applicants who come in through your careers page. NTRVSTA's Carolina runs live AI interviews for any candidate you send to it.

Is Jack & Jill free?

For candidates, yes. For companies, the Meet Jill plan is $0 with 20 introduction requests a month across unlimited roles. Hire Jill is $199 per active role per month billed annually, and Scale Jill is custom.

Has Jack & Jill published a bias audit?

Jack & Jill links a Bias Report from its footer and says Jill's candidate matching is assured by Warden AI. It doesn't name an NYC Local Law 144 audit in the pages we checked. NTRVSTA's LL144 audit by Asenion covers our AI interviews and was finalized October 20, 2026.
