Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this Leonar vs NTRVSTA comparison, and we're one of the two products. Facts about Leonar come from Leonar's own website, linked under Sources at the end.
The Leonar vs NTRVSTA choice starts with a structural question: do you want to change the system your agency runs on? Leonar is an ATS and CRM built for recruiting agencies, with sourcing and multichannel outreach inside it. NTRVSTA isn't an ATS. It's agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring, and its agent, Carolina, works inside the ATS, CRM and calendar you already use.
The short answer
Choose Leonar if you're an agency, especially in Europe, that wants to move candidates, mandates and client deals into one new workspace with built-in search over 870M+ profiles and LinkedIn steps in its sequences. Choose NTRVSTA if you want to keep your current system and add an agent that screens, runs live AI interviews and schedules, with approvals you set per action. Leonar wins on sourcing depth and client CRM. NTRVSTA wins on what happens after a candidate replies.
Side by side: Leonar vs NTRVSTA
How NTRVSTA works
Carolina takes an open role or a client mandate and sources candidates for it, then messages them by email, SMS or WhatsApp. As resumes come in, it scores and ranks them against the job with a short reason for each. Candidates who pass take a live AI interview at any hour, with a video avatar or an audio interviewer that changes its questions based on each answer. Recruiters get a score breakdown, video snippets and a report they can send to a client.
It then books interviews and panels on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom or Calendly. Anyone on the team can ask about the pipeline in plain English, and a morning digest lands in Slack or Microsoft Teams. You choose per action whether Carolina suggests, asks first or acts, and offers or compensation changes always wait for a person. For agencies, it connects to staffing systems like Bullhorn and Loxo, and setup takes a few days, depending on customization.
How Leonar works
Leonar says it is an all-in-one ATS and CRM for recruiting agencies. You search across 30+ professional sources, totaling 870M+ profiles, with AI or Boolean queries, and find verified emails and phone numbers. Sequences mix email, LinkedIn tasks, SMS and WhatsApp, and replies land in one inbox. Mandate pipelines sit next to a sales CRM for client deals, so business development and delivery live in one place.
A Sourcing Agent runs in the background and delivers scored shortlists daily. Leonar also offers an API and an MCP server, so outside assistants can act in Leonar with approve or deny prompts. Leonar is French in origin, with its site in English, French, German and Spanish, and says it was built on its founders' own agency, Licorne Society. It names agency customers such as Onos Talents and Gymlib.
When Leonar is the better choice
- You want to replace your ATS and CRM, not add a tool to them.
- Business development matters as much as delivery, and you want client deals in the same system as candidates.
- LinkedIn steps belong in your sequences, alongside email, SMS and WhatsApp.
- Search depth is your edge. Leonar publishes an 870M+ profile figure and contact finders; we publish neither.
Here's where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit, more broadly. It is newer and smaller than incumbents, with no published customer case studies yet. It is not an ATS or a system of record, so an agency wanting one new home for everything is better served by Leonar or another agency ATS. Dedicated sourcing tools go deeper on search. And if you'd rather have human recruiters do the work, a marketplace like Paraform or Dover fits better.
Pricing compared
Leonar prices per user. Professional is $149 per user a month excluding tax, or $1,788 a year prepaid, and includes the ATS and CRM, AI sourcing and matching, sequences, enrichment credits, and API access. The AI Agency Programme starts at five users and is quoted to scope. The notetaker add-on starts at $19 per user a month. A three-recruiter desk on Professional pays $447 a month.
NTRVSTA prices by AI interviews, not seats. Full details are on our pricing section:
- Starter: $0, one open role and 10 AI interviews, no card required.
- Team: $490/mo billed annually or $590 monthly, 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, up to 10 seats.
- Scale: $1,490/mo billed annually or $1,790 monthly, 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
- Enterprise and agencies: priced per hire or per seat, which suits agency desks billing per placement.
Team on annual billing works out to about $8.17 per included interview, and Scale to about $5.96. An AI interview is one live session of up to 60 minutes, and annual billing saves about 17%. Because one tool replaces your ATS and the other doesn't, add the cost of the system you'd keep when you compare.
Who should pick which

Questions
Is Leonar an ATS?
Yes. Leonar describes itself as an all-in-one ATS and CRM for recruiting agencies, with candidate pipelines, client deals, sourcing and outreach in one workspace. It also offers an ATS integration for teams that want to keep an existing system.
Does Leonar have an AI interviewer?
No. Leonar sells an optional call transcription bot for human calls on Google Meet, Teams, Zoom and Slack, from $19 per user a month. It does not run AI interviews. NTRVSTA runs live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio.
Which one is cheaper for a small agency?
It depends on volume. Leonar is $149 per user a month, so three recruiters pay $447 a month. NTRVSTA prices by AI interviews instead of seats: Team is $490 a month billed annually for 60 interviews and up to 10 seats, and agencies can also be priced per hire or per seat.
Can Leonar and NTRVSTA work together?
Leonar does not name NTRVSTA as an integration, and NTRVSTA's list of connected systems does not include Leonar, so plan on the REST API or SFTP and confirm the details with both teams first. Many agencies will simply pick one.
