Leonar alternatives: 6 options for agencies, from full ATS to add-on agents

Some Leonar competitors replace it like for like. Others let you keep the ATS you have. Here is which is which, with prices.

Full disclosure: we make NTRVSTA, one of the six Leonar alternatives on this page. Facts about the other tools come from their own websites, and you'll find every link under Sources.

Leonar is an ATS and CRM for recruiting agencies with sourcing over 870M+ profiles, sequences across email, LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp, and an always-on Sourcing Agent. Agencies look at Leonar alternatives and competitors for a few structural reasons. Some don't want to migrate off the ATS they already run, like Bullhorn or Loxo, and want AI on top of it instead. Some want a cheaper, simpler ATS. Some want AI interviews or scheduling, which Leonar doesn't publish. And some US desks prefer a vendor whose focus is the US market rather than Europe. If you want one new workspace for candidates and client deals, and you recruit mainly in Europe, Leonar is a strong fit and staying makes sense.

1. NTRVSTA (us)

NTRVSTA is the option for agencies that like their current ATS and don't want a migration. It isn't an ATS. Carolina, our AI Head of Talent, works inside staffing systems like Bullhorn, Recruit CRM and Loxo. It sources for each mandate, reaches out by email, SMS or WhatsApp, scores and ranks resumes with reasons, and runs a live AI interview, as a video avatar or audio, that adapts to each answer. It then books client interviews on Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom or Calendly.

You set each action to suggest, ask first or auto, and offers or compensation changes always wait for a person. What you give up compared with Leonar: a client sales CRM, LinkedIn tasks in sequences, and a published profile database. The interview audit is on our compliance page, and the head-to-head is in Leonar vs NTRVSTA.

Best for: agency desks that want first-round screening done before a recruiter picks up the phone.

2. Recruiterflow

Recruiterflow is the nearest like-for-like swap. It's an ATS and CRM for search firms, recruiting and staffing agencies, with multichannel sequences across email, LinkedIn and voice, plus workflow automation. Its AIRA suite, which Recruiterflow says has 36 agents built in, includes natural-language search, AIRA Source over 850M+ profiles, a call notetaker, job change alerts and agents for submissions, tasks and field updates. The Platform plan is $149 per user a month, and AIRA is priced on request. Recruiterflow lists SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

Best for: agencies that want an AI-heavy agency ATS with many single-task agents built in.

3. Manatal

Manatal is a simpler and much cheaper ATS. Manatal says it recommends and scores candidates against job descriptions, parses and enriches resumes, and offers an AI Copilot. Plans run from $15 per user a month billed annually (Professional, up to 15 jobs) to $55 for Enterprise Plus, which adds a report builder, an open API and an MCP integration. A paid AI Interviewer add-on runs asynchronous video screens with up to 10 set questions. There's a 14-day free trial.

Best for: small agencies that need a solid ATS first and can live without a built-in sourcing database.

4. Pin

Pin covers the sourcing and outreach half of Leonar without asking you to switch systems. Pin says it matches candidates from 850M+ profiles with an explained fit score, sends multi-step sequences from your own inbox with SMS and LinkedIn steps, answers replies from a knowledge base, and books calls on your calendar. It lists 120+ ATS integrations, including Bullhorn; ATS sync is an add-on below Enterprise. There's a free plan.

Best for: agencies that want an AI sourcer to fill calendars while the ATS stays put.

5. Juicebox

Juicebox suits recruiters who mostly need search. Juicebox says you describe a role in plain English and it returns a ranked pool from 800M profiles across 30+ data sources, with AI-written email sequences and background agents ($199 per agent a month) that auto-email or auto-shortlist. Bullhorn and Crelate are among its listed ATS connections, on the Business plan. On October 6, 2026, Juicebox announced an agreement to acquire Fetcher's assets.

Best for: recruiters who want strong people search at a per-seat price, starting free.

6. SeekOut

SeekOut is built for larger teams that want external search and their own database in one place. It says it searches 1B+ profiles plus your ATS, with agents that build rubrics and draft personalized email campaigns that recruiters approve. Bullhorn, Gem and Avature are on its published ATS list. Sourcing Core costs $149 a month billed annually for three seats, with a 14-day free trial; bigger plans are custom.

Best for: bigger agency and in-house teams with years of candidates sitting in their ATS.

Questions

What is the closest alternative to Leonar?

Recruiterflow. Both are ATS and CRM platforms for agencies and search firms, both list $149 per user a month for the core plan, and both build AI sourcing over 850M+ profiles and multichannel sequences into the product.

Is there a cheaper Leonar alternative?

Manatal is the lowest-priced ATS here, from $15 per user a month billed annually. It is a lighter system, with AI candidate scoring and an optional asynchronous AI video interview add-on, and it does not publish a sourcing database.

Can I keep Bullhorn and still get AI sourcing and screening?

Yes. Pin, Juicebox and SeekOut each list Bullhorn among their ATS connections, and NTRVSTA connects to Bullhorn, Loxo, Recruit CRM and other staffing systems. With those, you add AI on top of Bullhorn instead of migrating to a new agency ATS.

Do any Leonar alternatives run AI interviews?

NTRVSTA runs live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio. Manatal sells an asynchronous AI video screening add-on with set questions. Recruiterflow, Pin, Juicebox and Leonar itself do not run AI interviews; Leonar and Recruiterflow offer notetakers for human calls.
