Avature vs NTRVSTA: an enterprise recruiting suite or an AI recruiter that works inside your stack?

One is a platform you move your recruiting into. The other is an agent that works in the systems you already run. Here is how to tell which problem you have.

Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this Avature vs NTRVSTA comparison, and we make one of the two products. Everything we say about Avature comes from Avature's own website, linked in the Sources section at the bottom.

The short answer

Choose Avature if you are picking the core platform for enterprise recruiting: one deeply configurable system for ATS, CRM, high-volume hiring, executive search, contingent workers and talent management. Choose NTRVSTA if you already have an ATS you plan to keep and want an AI recruiter, Carolina, that sources, runs outreach, scores resumes, runs live AI interviews and schedules inside that stack. These products solve different problems, so the real question in Avature vs NTRVSTA is whether you need a new system of record or an agent on top of the one you have.

How NTRVSTA works

NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring. You open a role, and Carolina, our AI Head of Talent, finds candidates for it and contacts them by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Every resume that comes in gets scored and ranked against the job, with a plain explanation of why someone sits where they do.

Candidates who move forward take a live AI interview whenever it suits them, day or night, as a video avatar or audio-only conversation. The interviewer adapts its questions and difficulty to each answer, covers technical and non-technical roles, and can run in multiple languages. You get a score breakdown, video snippets and a report you can share. Carolina then books the next round with your team's calendars, answers pipeline questions in plain English, and sends a morning digest in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

You decide how much it does alone. Each action is set to suggest, ask first or auto, and offers and compensation changes always wait for a person. Everything lands back in the systems you already run. Avature isn't one of our 70 named integrations, so if it is your ATS, ask us on a demo how the connection would work over our REST API and SFTP. Setup takes a few days, depending on customization.

How Avature works

Avature sells one highly configurable platform rather than a single tool. Its site covers ATS, CRM, high-volume hiring, executive search, contingent workforce, career sites, interview scheduling and video interviews, plus talent management after the hire. Avature describes itself as "the AI platform for strategic HR transformation" and says it is a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Talent Acquisition Suites, for the second year running.

Its AI layer includes semantic matching, a skills parser, Avature Copilot (which Avature says "deploys the right agents" for jobs like drafting job descriptions and comparing candidates) and an Agent Builder. Avature says each AI feature can be switched on or off. On compliance, Avature says it is FedRAMP certified, follows the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, runs annual independent bias audits including one for the NYC law, and "aligns with" the EU AI Act.

When Avature is the better choice

  • You are replacing your ATS and CRM, and you want one system of record that also handles talent management, career sites and contingent workers.
  • You are a public-sector or regulated employer that needs FedRAMP, which Avature says it holds.
  • You want heavy configuration across many business units and countries, and you have a team to run it.
  • You want live and recorded video interviews run by your own recruiters, not an AI interviewer.

Where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit: we are newer and much smaller than Avature, and we have no published customer case studies yet. We are not an ATS or a system of record, so if you want one platform to hold every candidate record, buy a suite. We don't publish a proprietary profile database, and we are not a workforce-planning or skills-intelligence product.

Pricing compared

Avature does not publish prices or a free trial on the pages we checked. Expect a quote based on modules, scale and configuration.

NTRVSTA's plans are on our pricing section:

  • Starter: free ($0), covering one open role and 10 AI interviews, with no card needed.
  • Team: $490 a month billed annually, or $590 month to month. Includes 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, for up to 10 seats.
  • Scale: $1,490 a month billed annually, or $1,790 month to month. Includes 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
  • Enterprise and agencies: quoted per hire or per seat, depending on how you hire.

The per-interview math on annual billing: Team works out to about $8.17 per interview, and Scale to about $5.96 per interview, before overages. An AI interview is one live session of up to 60 minutes. Annual billing saves about 17%.

Who should pick which

  • If you are choosing a new enterprise ATS and CRM, pick Avature (or compare it with other suites).
  • If your ATS works and you want an agent to source, screen and schedule inside it, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If FedRAMP is a hard requirement, pick Avature.
  • If you want candidates interviewed by AI at any hour, with adaptive questions and a shareable report, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you need published prices to get a budget approved, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If your recruiters run every interview themselves and you just need video tools for it, pick Avature.

Questions

Is NTRVSTA a replacement for Avature?

No. Avature is an ATS, CRM and talent management platform, and NTRVSTA is not a system of record. NTRVSTA's AI recruiter, Carolina, works inside the ATS and HR systems you already run. If you are choosing your core recruiting platform, compare Avature with other suites, not with us.

Does Avature have an AI interviewer?

Not on the pages we checked. Avature's Video Interview product supports live interviews run by people and on-demand recorded interviews. NTRVSTA runs live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio, for technical and non-technical roles.

Do Avature and NTRVSTA both publish NYC Local Law 144 bias audits?

Avature says it runs annual independent bias audits, including an audit for the NYC bias audit law. NTRVSTA's independent LL144 audit by Asenion was finalized on October 20, 2026, and it covers our AI interviews. Ask either vendor exactly which tools each audit covers.

How much does Avature cost compared with NTRVSTA?

Avature does not publish pricing, so you will need a quote. NTRVSTA's plans are on our homepage: Starter is $0 for one open role, Team is $490 a month billed annually, Scale is $1,490 a month billed annually, and Enterprise is priced per hire or per seat.

See how Carolina would work inside your current stack: book a 20-minute demo, or try a sample AI interview first. The audit details are on our compliance page.

We checked features and pricing for both products on November 1, 2026. Vendors change both often, so confirm the details with each one before you sign.
