NTRVSTA wrote this page. We make a competing product, so we stick to HireVue's own published pricing and say where it isn't published.
If you searched for HireVue pricing, you probably want a number before you book a call. HireVue doesn't give one publicly. This page explains what HireVue does show, how a quote is likely to be built from the products it lists, what to ask before you sign, and which tools publish their prices if you'd rather start from a list price.
The short answer on HireVue pricing
HireVue does not publish pricing. When we checked its pricing page on November 1, 2026, it showed no plans and no dollar amounts, only the line "Need help choosing the right plan for your business?" and a link to calculate your ROI. HireVue sells by quote after a demo, to companies it describes as ranging "from mid-market to enterprise."
What you get on each HireVue plan
HireVue doesn't list named plans or tiers. What it does list are product groups, which is the closest thing to a menu you can price against. Each row below is a product HireVue names on its own site; the prices are blank because HireVue leaves them blank.
HireVue also lists compliance work that often matters in enterprise deals: SOC 2 Type 2, ISO/IEC 27001 and FedRAMP, and it says its fairness audits cover NYC Local Law 144, with external audits run by DCI Consulting Group. It says it "enriches 45+ ATS" without naming them on the pages we checked.
What drives the price
HireVue doesn't publish its pricing levers, so we can only point to what its product list implies. The more of the four product groups you buy, the more there is to price. The AI Interviewer, video interviewing, assessments and the career-site agent are presented as separate offerings, so a quote for one is not a quote for the platform.
The levers below are general to enterprise hiring software, not HireVue-specific. Expect most of them to come up in any quote-based deal:
- Volume. Annual hires, interviews or candidates are the usual unit for screening tools. Ask which one HireVue uses for your quote.
- Modules. Each product group you add is likely to raise the total.
- Contract length. Multi-year terms usually lower the yearly rate and raise the total commitment.
- Integrations and services. ATS connections, single sign-on and implementation work can sit outside the base fee.
- Regions and languages. HireVue lists regional versions of its AI Interviewer (English, Spanish, French and Portuguese variants). Rolling out in several regions can change scope.
HireVue's pricing page points to an ROI calculator rather than a price. That's a hint about how the conversation will go: the pitch is savings against your current process, so arrive with your own numbers for recruiter hours per screen and screens per hire.
Questions to ask HireVue before you buy
- What is the unit of pricing in our quote (hires, candidates, interviews, employees or seats), and what happens if we go over it?
- Which of the four product groups does this quote include, and which features we saw in the demo cost extra?
- Is the AI Interviewer priced separately from on-demand video interviews, or bundled?
- Is there a one-time implementation or configuration fee, and what does it cover?
- Which of our systems (ATS, HRIS, calendar) are covered by the integration included in the base price?
- What is the minimum term, and what are the renewal price caps?
- Can we export candidate recordings, transcripts and scores in a usable format if we leave, and at what cost?
- Can we run a paid or free pilot on one role before a full contract?
Cheaper or simpler options than HireVue
These tools publish at least part of their pricing on their own sites. They don't all do what HireVue does, so the fit notes matter as much as the price.
- Spark Hire: video interviews from $249 a month billed annually (unlimited jobs and users) or from $299 month to month (five jobs, five users). One-way and live video run by people, not an AI interviewer. A good fit if HireVue's video module is what you actually need.
- Hireflix: $75 a month billed yearly for companies under 50 employees, $150 for 50 to 250, custom above that, with a free first month. One-way video only, deliberately simple.
- Interviewer.AI: Essential $199 a month (AI-scored one-way video) and Professional $399 a month, which adds conversational avatar interviews with adaptive follow-ups at 2 credits each.
- TestGorilla: a free plan, then Assessments Plus from $520 a month billed annually, which includes AI interviews at 2 credits per candidate. Closest if HireVue's assessments are the draw.
- NTRVSTA (us): Starter $0 for one open role and 10 AI interviews, Team $490 a month billed annually ($590 monthly) with 60 AI interviews, Scale $1,490 a month billed annually ($1,790 monthly) with 250. Carolina, our agent, also sources, scores resumes and books interviews inside your ATS. We're newer than HireVue and don't offer game-based assessments or FedRAMP.

Questions
How much does HireVue cost?
HireVue does not publish a price. Its pricing page shows no plans or dollar amounts, only a prompt to talk about the right plan and a link to an ROI calculator. You get a number after a sales conversation, so ask for the price per completed interview and the minimum commitment in writing.
Does HireVue have a free trial?
HireVue does not publish a free trial. Its site offers a demo request instead.
Is HireVue only for large enterprises?
HireVue says its platform serves companies from mid-market to enterprise, and its site menu lists a mid-market offering. It doesn't publish a minimum company size or a minimum spend.
What is the cheapest alternative to HireVue?
Among tools with public prices, Hireflix starts at $75 a month billed yearly for one-way video, and Spark Hire's video interviews start at $249 a month billed annually. Neither runs an AI voice interview like HireVue's AI Interviewer. For live AI interviews with a public price, Interviewer.AI Professional is $399 a month and our Team plan is $490 a month billed annually.
Which HireVue products can be in a quote?
HireVue's site groups its products as Engage (Match and Apply), Screen (AI Interviewer), Assess (Assessment Builder and Assessments) and Interview (Video Interviewing). Ask which of these your quote covers, and whether anything you saw in the demo is a separate line item.
