Full disclosure: NTRVSTA put together this list of HiringAgents.ai alternatives, and we're one of the six products on it. We limited facts about the others to what each company publishes, with sources at the end.
HiringAgents.ai, the company formerly known as Holly, calls itself "the AI native recruitment agency." Its agent Holly screens inbound applicants and collects 60-second video intros for free, and its agent Hunter sources passive candidates, sold at $149 to $199 per ready-to-interview candidate. People look at HiringAgents.ai alternatives and other Holly AI recruiter options for a few reasons: they want a live AI interview rather than a recorded intro, they want outreach on channels such as SMS or WhatsApp, they want a flat plan instead of paying per candidate, or they want a vendor with more public product detail (the root homepage showed only a "stay tuned" notice when we checked). If the credits are delivering people you hire, it may be worth staying.
The alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
HiringAgents.ai hands you candidates. NTRVSTA hands you an agent. Carolina, our AI Head of Talent, sources for each open role, contacts candidates by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and scores every resume against the job with a stated reason. Instead of a recorded intro, candidates sit a live AI interview, as a video avatar or audio, that adapts its questions and difficulty to each answer. Carolina then schedules the human round, answers pipeline questions in plain English and sends a daily digest to Slack or Teams. Every action is set to suggest, ask first or auto. Our LL144 bias audit covers the AI interviews; see the compliance page.
NTRVSTA works inside systems like Lever, Greenhouse, Workday and Bullhorn. What we don't do: deliver candidates from a talent network of our own, or reach out on LinkedIn. We're newer too, with no published case studies.
Best for: Teams that want inbound and sourced candidates scored, interviewed and scheduled in their own ATS on a flat plan.
2. Pin
Pin is the closest self-serve match for Hunter. You enter a job title; Pin researches the company, matches candidates from 850M+ profiles with an explained fit score, and, once you approve, sends sequences from your Gmail or Outlook over email, SMS and LinkedIn. It answers replies from a knowledge base and books interviews on your calendar. Each step can run hands-on, co-pilot or full autopilot. Pin has a free plan, and Solo is $100 per user a month on annual billing.
Best for: Founders, agencies and lean teams that want an affordable sourcer that fills the calendar.
3. Jack & Jill
Jack & Jill is the nearest match for HiringAgents.ai's two-sided idea. Jack is a free career agent that talks with candidates; Jill is the hiring agent that builds a brief and rubric for your role, matches it against Jack's opted-in network and requests a direct introduction when both sides fit. Paid plans also search 1B+ public profiles and connect to an ATS. Meet Jill is free for 20 intro requests a month, and Hire Jill is $199 per active role per month on annual billing.
Best for: Seed to Series C startups, especially in UK and US tech, that want warm introductions.
4. Alfa
Alfa, based in London, says it runs a role end to end: it writes the brief with you, publishes job ads, sources from 800M+ profiles and reaches out, then screens candidates in an audio or video interview with Lisa, its AI avatar, and returns an evidence-backed fit score into your ATS. Alfa lists 75+ ATS on its integrations page. Pricing is demo only, though a public demo interview is available.
Best for: UK and European in-house and agency teams that want sourcing and AI interviews in one platform.
5. Paraform
If the appeal of HiringAgents.ai is "agency quality without agency fees," Paraform takes the other side of that trade: real recruiters, paid on hire. It matches you with specialized recruiters from its network, adds custom AI agents trained on its hiring data, and assigns a talent strategist to each search. Paraform says it takes a flat percentage of first-year base salary only when you hire, with a free replacement search within 90 days. The percentage isn't published.
Best for: Venture-backed startups filling hard technical or go-to-market roles that want humans running the search.
6. Dover
Dover pairs a free ATS for startups with a marketplace of fractional recruiters who charge hourly, by retainer or per hire, and it publishes the cost of every marketplace hire. The free ATS includes job-board distribution to 50+ boards, a LinkedIn sourcing extension and AI job descriptions; Premium at $199 a month adds AI applicant scoring and an AI interview notetaker. Humans conduct the interviews. Unlike HiringAgents.ai, Dover is itself an ATS.
Best for: Seed to Series B startups that don't have an ATS yet and want on-demand recruiters with clear costs.
When to stay with HiringAgents.ai
Stay if its credits are turning into interviews and hires. Paying only for ready-to-interview candidates, with a refund if you reject one within 48 hours and give feedback, keeps risk low for a small team with a few open roles. The free careers page and inbound vetting cost nothing to keep running. If your gap is the screening step, you can keep HiringAgents.ai for sourcing and add a structured interview afterward.
