GoPerfect vs NTRVSTA: Perfect's AI recruiter next to Carolina

Perfect and Carolina both promise to run the pipeline for you. They charge differently and go to different depths at the interview stage.

Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this GoPerfect vs NTRVSTA comparison, and we make one of the two products. Facts about Perfect come only from goperfect.com, linked under Sources at the bottom of the page.

Perfect, found at goperfect.com, calls itself "the autonomous recruiter." Its pitch is one AI recruiter agent that sources, reaches out, calls, screens and keeps your ATS in sync. NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring, built around an agent named Carolina that covers much of the same ground. So the comparison comes down to channels, interview depth, approvals and how each one bills.

The short answer

Choose Perfect if you want to pay a flat $300 per open role with unlimited seats, and you want outreach on LinkedIn and by AI phone call. Choose NTRVSTA if your first round needs a real interview, by video avatar or audio, that adapts to each answer and can test technical skills. Choose it too if you reach candidates by SMS or WhatsApp, or you want a free plan and a published bias audit for AI interviews.

How NTRVSTA works

Carolina picks up an open role and sources candidates for it, then contacts them by email, SMS or WhatsApp. As applications and replies arrive, it scores each resume against the job, ranks the pool and tells you the reasoning behind the order. Shortlisted people get a live AI interview, with a video avatar or audio only, that adjusts its questions and difficulty to what they say. It handles engineering and non-technical roles, runs 24/7 and works in multiple languages. Each interview ends with a score breakdown, video snippets of key moments and a shareable report.

Next, Carolina schedules interviews and panels against your team's calendars. Anyone can ask it about the pipeline in plain English, and it sends a morning digest to Slack or Microsoft Teams. You decide, action by action, whether it should suggest, ask first or act on its own, and offers and compensation changes always go to a person. It connects to what you run today, such as Greenhouse or Bullhorn, and setup takes a few days, depending on customization.

How Perfect works

Perfect says you define the role and its agent does the rest. Deep Search researches the market first and asks you trade-off questions, such as whether a skill is a must-have. Autopilot then shortlists or skips candidates based on those answers and sends multi-step outreach by email, a LinkedIn connection note and an AI phone call. Perfect says the voice agent tells candidates it is AI, retries up to four times, and returns a summary, transcript and recording. After a positive reply, it drafts a first-round screen with rubric-scored questions and lets the candidate book the first interview.

Pipeline stages and Perfect's candidate CRM update as the agent works, and records sync to 60+ ATS and HR systems, including Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, iCIMS and Bullhorn. Perfect lists SOC 2 Type II. It describes itself as "LV 4" autonomous execution, with LV 5 on its roadmap, and shows logos from eToro, Coralogix, Optimove, Guardio and Masterschool.

When Perfect is the better choice

  • LinkedIn messages and phone calls are how your candidates answer, and you want the agent to work those channels.
  • You hire for a known number of roles and like a bill that moves only with open positions, with unlimited seats.
  • Your security review needs SOC 2 Type II now. Perfect lists it, and we don't publish one today.
  • You want outreach to run fully hands-off once a sequence is set, and your policy allows that.

Here is where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit, stated plainly. We're newer and smaller than the incumbents, with no published customer case studies yet. We're not an ATS or a system of record. We don't publish a proprietary profile database, so search-first tools like SeekOut, Pin or Juicebox go deeper on finding people. If you'd rather have human recruiters run the search, a marketplace like Paraform or Dover suits you better.

Pricing compared

Perfect bills $300 per open position per month. A position counts from the day you open it in Perfect until you fill, pause or close it, and every module and seat is included with no AI credits. Perfect's own example is five open positions for $1,500 a month, or $18,000 over 12 months. Above 50 open roles, terms are custom.

We price by AI interviews per month instead, as listed in our pricing section:

  • Starter: $0 for one open role and 10 AI interviews, no card required.
  • Team: $490/mo billed annually or $590 monthly, 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, up to 10 seats.
  • Scale: $1,490/mo billed annually or $1,790 monthly, 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
  • Enterprise and agencies: priced per hire or per seat.

Annual Team comes to about $8.17 per included interview, and annual Scale to about $5.96. Annual billing saves about 17%, and an AI interview is one live session of up to 60 minutes. Because Perfect counts open roles and we count interviews, run both models against last quarter's hiring before you decide.

Who should pick which

  • If you keep only a few roles open at a time and want every seat included, pick Perfect.
  • If you want the agent to call candidates on the phone, pick Perfect.
  • If your candidates live on WhatsApp or text, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If your first round must test coding, system design or structured behavioral answers, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you want a free plan to try the agent on a real role, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you need SOC 2 Type II documentation before signing, pick Perfect.
