NTRVSTA wrote this guide to Paraform alternatives, and we include ourselves in it, so treat our entry with that in mind. Facts about every other company come from its own website, linked in the Sources list.
Paraform does something specific well: it puts a specialist recruiter from a large network on your hardest roles, adds agents trained on its own hiring data, and only charges when someone is hired. So why do teams look at Paraform alternatives and competitors? Usually it's arithmetic and control. A percentage of first-year base salary feels fine for one founding engineer and heavy for fifteen hires a year. Other teams want the pipeline in their own ATS, run by tools they control, with a consistent first-round interview for every applicant. If you have one or two make-or-break roles and no recruiter in-house, Paraform may still be the right call.
Paraform alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
NTRVSTA replaces the part of Paraform that does the work, not the human relationship. Our agent, Carolina, takes each open role and sources candidates, reaches out by email, SMS and WhatsApp, and scores every resume against the job with an explanation you can check. Candidates then sit a live AI interview whenever suits them, by video avatar or audio, with questions that adapt to their answers in technical and non-technical roles. Carolina books the human rounds on your calendars and answers plain-English questions about the pipeline.
The money works differently too. Plans are flat and public on our pricing section, and enterprise or agency deals can be priced per hire or per seat. You set each action to suggest, ask first or auto, and offers or comp changes always wait for a person. Our NYC Local Law 144 audit covers the AI interviews; see the compliance page. What we don't do: provide a human recruiter to sell a senior role. For the full comparison, read Paraform vs NTRVSTA.
Best for: companies hiring many people a year that want to bring recruiting in-house without adding headcount.
2. Dover
Dover is the nearest match if you want to keep working with human recruiters but prefer different terms. Its marketplace lists vetted startup recruiters who work hourly, on retainer or per hire, and the recruiter sets the rate. Dover publishes the cost of past marketplace hires and says the average is $4.8K; it earns a platform fee on top. Intro calls are free and there's no long-term contract. Everything runs inside Dover's free ATS, and Premium at $199 a month adds AI applicant scoring and an AI notetaker.
Best for: seed to Series B startups that want a recruiter on hourly or retainer terms instead of a salary percentage.
3. Jack & Jill
Jack & Jill also promises interested candidates rather than raw lists, but with agents in place of recruiters. Candidates talk with Jack, a free career agent. Companies brief Jill, which builds the rubric and job description, matches the role against Jack's network, and introduces candidates who have opted in, including people not actively looking. Pricing is per active role: Meet Jill is free with 20 intro requests a month, and Hire Jill is $199 per role per month on annual billing. Jack & Jill raised a $40M Series A led by Air Street Capital in September 2026, per The Next Web.
Best for: startups that liked Paraform's shortlist quality but want a lower, predictable cost per role.
4. Pin
For a team ready to run its own outbound, Pin does a lot for little. Pin says that from a job title it researches your company, builds criteria, matches people from 850M+ profiles and explains each fit score for you to approve. It then sends multi-step sequences from your mailbox, handles replies using a knowledge base, and books interviews. Pin calls its most hands-off mode Full Autopilot, and every step can require approval. It lists 120+ ATS integrations, included on Enterprise and an add-on on lower plans.
Best for: founders and small in-house teams replacing agency fees with an inexpensive outbound agent.
5. SeekOut
SeekOut fits teams that want to own sourcing with a large index behind them. SeekOut calls itself "the agentic AI recruiting platform." It searches 1B+ profiles plus your own ATS, and its agents build rubrics, find candidates and send personalized email campaigns, with recruiters approving the critical steps. An add-on scores inbound applicants and, per SeekOut, runs video screening interviews. Sourcing Core is $149 a month billed annually for three seats, with a 14-day free trial; fuller tiers are custom.
Best for: in-house TA teams that want search depth and ATS rediscovery instead of an outside recruiter.
6. hireEZ
hireEZ describes EZ Agent as "enterprise hiring, run by agents," sitting on your current ATS. Its agents source from 1B+ profiles across 45+ platforms, rank every application, run conversational AI screens by voice or chat, send email, SMS and InMail sequences, and book interviews with an AI Scheduler. hireEZ says nothing moves forward without your approval. A Solo plan starts at $494 a month with a 7-day free trial; enterprise pricing isn't published.
Best for: larger TA and staffing teams that want sourcing through scheduling as one agent layer.
When to stay with Paraform
- You have a handful of critical searches a year and want specialists who already know that market.
- You don't have a recruiter, and nobody on your team can own a pipeline even with an agent's help.
- Paying only on a successful hire, with a 90-day replacement search, matters more to you than a lower total cost.
- Your security review is satisfied by Paraform's SOC 2 Certified badge.
Where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit for a Paraform customer: if you need a person to court passive senior candidates, Carolina isn't a substitute. We're newer and smaller than most names here and have no published case studies yet, and we don't publish a profile database size the way SeekOut, hireEZ and Pin do. Questions
Why do companies look for Paraform alternatives?
Mostly cost structure and control. Paraform charges a flat percentage of first-year base salary per hire, which adds up across many roles, and the search is run by its recruiters. Teams hiring steadily often want software they run themselves at a fixed price.
Is there a Paraform alternative that also uses human recruiters?
Dover. Its marketplace lists fractional startup recruiters who work hourly, on retainer or per hire, inside Dover's free ATS. Recruiters set their own rates, and Dover says its average cost per hire is $4.8K.
Which Paraform competitors run AI interviews?
Of the tools here, NTRVSTA runs live, adaptive AI interviews by video avatar or audio. hireEZ says it runs conversational AI screens by voice or chat, and SeekOut's AI Screening add-on includes video screening interviews per its homepage. Paraform, Dover, Jack & Jill and Pin don't describe an AI interviewer for your applicants.
Can an AI recruiting agent fill senior roles?
It can do much of the legwork: sourcing, outreach, scoring and first-round interviews. For executive or founding hires where a human needs to sell the role in long conversations, a recruiter from a network like Paraform or Dover is still the stronger choice.
