Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this list and is one of the six Alfa AI alternatives in it. What we say about the others comes from their own sites, and every link is under Sources at the bottom.
Alfa is an ambitious product. It says it takes a role from brief to scored shortlist on its own: it writes and publishes the job ad, sources from 800M+ profiles, reaches out, interviews candidates with Lisa, its AI avatar, and pushes results into your ATS. Teams look at Alfa AI alternatives and competitors for practical reasons. Alfa doesn't publish prices or a trial. It doesn't publish its outreach channels, scheduling, or how approvals work step by step. And it hasn't published an NYC Local Law 144 audit, which matters if you hire in New York City. Some buyers also want a vendor with more US presence than a London seed-stage startup. If Alfa's job-ad-to-shortlist flow and its SOC 2 and ISO 27001 badges suit you, staying is reasonable.
Alfa AI alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
NTRVSTA covers almost the same ground as Alfa, so the useful question is how it differs. Carolina sources for each role and runs outreach by email, SMS and WhatsApp, which Alfa doesn't spell out. It scores every resume against the job and explains the ranking. Its live AI interview, by video avatar or audio, adapts each question to the answer before it and covers technical and non-technical roles. Then it books interviews and panels on your calendar and answers pipeline questions in plain English, with a morning digest in Slack or Teams.
The bigger difference is control. You set every action to suggest, ask first or auto, and offers or compensation changes always wait for a person. Our interview audit is public on the compliance page, and our prices are public. What we don't do: write and publish job ads for you, or publish a profile database. See Alfa AI vs NTRVSTA for the full table, or how teams connect us to Bullhorn.
Best for: in-house teams and agencies that want an end-to-end agent they can tune step by step.
2. hireEZ
hireEZ is the closest enterprise peer to Alfa's end-to-end idea. Its EZ Agent, hireEZ says, sources from 1B+ profiles across 45+ platforms, reads and ranks every application, runs conversational screens by voice or chat with your questions, sends email, SMS and InMail sequences, and books interviews with an AI Scheduler. Its stated rule is that nothing moves forward without your approval. hireEZ lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001. Solo starts at $494 a month with a 7-day free trial.
Best for: enterprise TA and staffing teams that want sourcing and first screens as one layer on Workday, SuccessFactors or iCIMS.
3. Pin
Pin is for teams that like Alfa's sourcing and outreach but want to run interviews themselves. Pin says it turns a job title into criteria, matches people from 850M+ profiles with an explained score, sends sequences from your own inbox, replies from a knowledge base, and books calls on your calendar. Every step can be hands-on, co-pilot or full autopilot. There's a free plan, and paid seats run $100 to $179 a month.
Best for: agencies and founders who want booked calls with candidates for a predictable per-seat price.
4. Jack & Jill
Jack & Jill, also London-based, takes a different route. Jack is a free AI career agent that talks with job seekers; Jill takes your brief, builds a rubric, and requests introductions to people in Jack's opted-in network when both sides fit. Paid plans also search 1B+ public profiles. You work with Jill over email and Slack. It doesn't interview your own applicants, but Jack & Jill links a Warden AI bias report.
Best for: seed to Series C startups that would rather receive warm, double-opt-in intros than run cold outreach.
5. HeyMilo
If Lisa's interview is the part you value most, HeyMilo is a focused alternative. HeyMilo says its agents run two-way voice and video interviews, plus SMS and form screening, around the clock in 20+ languages, scoring answers against your criteria with written reasoning. It auto-scores resumes, adds ID checks, and syncs to a long ATS list including Workday, Bullhorn and JobDiva. It shows a SOC 2 badge and says it has third-party bias audits. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: staffing firms that already source well and want AI screening across many languages.
6. Tenzo
Tenzo's AI recruiter, Morgan, runs voice interviews by phone or video at any hour, reviews resumes, checks for fraud, schedules, and rediscovers past candidates in your ATS, per Tenzo. It lists 57+ two-way ATS integrations and SOC 2 Type 2, and says a de-biasing layer removes protected-class details before scoring. Candidates can opt out of the AI interview. Pricing is a custom quote based on volume.
Best for: high-volume and staffing teams that want screening, fraud checks and scheduling from one vendor.
When to stay with Alfa AI
- You want the agent to write and post job ads, not only work the candidates who arrive.
- You're a UK or European agency and value a London vendor with a visible UK recruiting network.
- Procurement asks for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 badges, which Alfa shows.
- Lisa's interview and fit scores already work for your roles, and price isn't the open question.
