HeroHunt vs NTRVSTA: a global sourcing engine or an agent for the whole funnel?

HeroHunt.ai fills the top of the funnel with screened profiles and email. Carolina picks up from the reply. Which gap is yours?

Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this HeroHunt vs NTRVSTA page, and we make one of the two products in it. Facts about HeroHunt.ai come from herohunt.ai itself, and each page we used is linked under Sources.

HeroHunt AI and NTRVSTA both call their agent an AI recruiter, but they cover different stretches of hiring. HeroHunt.ai is a sourcing tool: its AI Recruiter searches a very large profile pool, screens profiles against your requirements and emails the people you approve. NTRVSTA is agentic AI for sourcing, recruiting and hiring. Its agent, Carolina, also sources and reaches out, then keeps going through resume scoring, live interviews and scheduling.

The short answer

Choose HeroHunt.ai if finding people is the hard part: you need global reach, natural-language search across many professional sites and email outreach that runs once you approve a shortlist. Choose NTRVSTA if you already get enough interest and lose time afterward, in screening, first-round interviews and calendar back-and-forth. Choose it as well if you want text or WhatsApp outreach, a free plan with no card, or a published bias audit for AI interviews.

How NTRVSTA works

Hand Carolina an open role and it sources candidates, then reaches them by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Each resume that comes back is scored and ranked against the job, with a short explanation of the ranking, so recruiters can check the logic instead of trusting a number. Candidates who clear that bar get a live AI interview, as a video avatar or audio only, that shifts its questions and difficulty as they answer. It handles technical and non-technical roles, runs 24/7, works in multiple languages and produces a score breakdown, video snippets and a shareable report.

Carolina then books interviews and panels on your calendar, answers pipeline questions in plain English and sends a morning digest in Slack or Microsoft Teams. You choose, per action, whether it suggests, asks first or acts alone. Offers and compensation changes always wait for a person. It connects to what you already use, for example Teamtailor or Workable, and setup takes a few days, depending on customization.

How HeroHunt.ai works

HeroHunt.ai's headline is "Let AI Recruiter recruit talent on autopilot for you." You describe the role in natural language rather than building Boolean strings, and HeroHunt.ai says its contextual screening AI scores profiles on every requirement. It searches a 1.2B+ profile pool drawn from LinkedIn, GitHub, Xing, Stack Overflow and other sites, across 190+ countries. You approve the candidates you like, and AI Recruiter sends personalized outreach with automatic follow-ups. Outreach that's already running continues even after a monthly allowance runs out.

Plans are built around allowances rather than features: Starter covers 2,000 AI-screened profiles and 500 emails a month, Pro 5,000 profiles and 1,000 emails, and Team 25,000 profiles and 4,000 emails in a pool shared across users. HeroHunt.ai also sells a People Search API. The site is run by Eevee Meets B.V. and has a GDPR page.

When HeroHunt.ai is the better choice

  • You hire across many countries or for niche technical profiles, and you need to search GitHub, Stack Overflow and Xing as well as LinkedIn. HeroHunt.ai publishes that reach, and we don't publish a profile database.
  • Your recruiters run their own interviews and only want help filling the top of the funnel.
  • You want a self-serve tool you can start in a day, sized by how many profiles and emails you use.
  • You want to build search into your own product through an API.

Plainly, here is where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit. We're newer and smaller than the incumbents, with no published customer case studies yet. We're not an ATS or a system of record. We don't publish a proprietary profile database, so database-first tools such as HeroHunt.ai, SeekOut, hireEZ, Juicebox or Pin go deeper on search. If you'd rather hand the search to human recruiters, Paraform or Dover fit better.

Pricing compared

HeroHunt.ai lists four plans on its pricing pages: Starter (2,000 profiles and 500 emails a month), Pro (5,000 and 1,000), Team (25,000 and 4,000, shared) and Custom through sales. The pages we checked did not show dollar figures, though a banner offered "2 months free." The 8-day trial includes 150 screened profiles and 75 emails and converts to the paid plan you chose when it ends.

Our plans are listed in the pricing section of our homepage:

  • Starter: $0 for one open role and 10 AI interviews, no card required.
  • Team: $490/mo billed annually or $590 monthly, 60 AI interviews a month, then $12 each, up to 10 seats.
  • Scale: $1,490/mo billed annually or $1,790 monthly, 250 AI interviews a month, then $9 each.
  • Enterprise and agencies: priced per hire or per seat.

One AI interview is a live session of up to 60 minutes, and annual billing saves about 17%. The two products meter different things: HeroHunt.ai counts profiles and emails, and we count interviews. Estimate how many people you need to find and how many you need to interview each month, then price both.

Who should pick which

  • If your roles need engineers found on GitHub or Stack Overflow, pick HeroHunt.ai.
  • If your inbox fills with applicants nobody has time to screen, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you want to try something this week without entering a card, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If email is your only outreach channel and that works for your market, pick HeroHunt.ai.
  • If you need a first-round interview that tests skills and gives hiring managers video snippets, pick NTRVSTA.
  • If you're a small agency that wants to pay for search volume, not interviews, pick HeroHunt.ai.
