Full disclosure: this list of Phenom alternatives was written by NTRVSTA, and NTRVSTA is on it. Every fact about another vendor comes from that vendor's own site or official news, linked in the Sources section.
Phenom is a big platform: career site, Talent CRM, scheduling, onboarding, internal mobility and workforce intelligence, plus voice screening and an AI Interviewer run by its WorkOps agents. Teams look at Phenom alternatives and competitors when that scope is more than they need, when they want a published price (Phenom doesn't list one), when they want an interviewer that handles technical roles by video, or when they want a published NYC Local Law 144 audit. If you're using most of Phenom's modules and they work, staying usually beats a migration.
Phenom alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
NTRVSTA doesn't try to be another Phenom. There's no career site or talent marketplace to migrate to. Carolina, our AI Head of Talent, connects to the systems you already run (70 of them, including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and SAP SuccessFactors) and does the recruiting work there. She sources candidates, sends outreach by email, SMS and WhatsApp, scores and explains every resume, and runs live AI interviews as a video avatar or audio for technical and non-technical roles. She schedules panels, answers pipeline questions in plain English and posts a morning digest in Slack or Teams.
Each action runs as suggest, ask first or auto, and offers and compensation changes always wait for a person. Our LL144 audit of the AI interviews is on our compliance page. The honest gaps: we're newer and smaller, with no published case studies, and we don't cover onboarding, internal mobility or workforce planning. See Phenom vs NTRVSTA for detail.
Best for: TA teams that like their current stack and want an agent working inside it.
2. Eightfold AI
Eightfold is the closest like-for-like suite. It's a talent-intelligence platform, and its AI Interviewer, launched in October 2025, runs adaptive interviews by video, audio or text for screening, STAR questions, coding, soft skills and language checks. Eightfold says it judges only the content of answers. It reports a published NYC LL144 bias audit, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 42001 and FedRAMP Moderate, and announced an Oracle Recruiting Cloud integration in May 2026. Pricing isn't published. A pending FCRA class action concerns its candidate Match Scores, not the interviewer.
Best for: enterprises and government agencies that want suite depth plus an audited interviewer.
3. Avature
Avature fits teams that want to go the other way: more platform, not less. It sells one configurable system covering ATS, CRM, high-volume and executive search, contingent workforce, career sites, interview scheduling, video interviews and talent management. Avature Copilot deploys task agents, and Avature says AI can be switched on or off per feature. It says it runs annual independent bias audits, including an AEDT audit for the NYC law, and is FedRAMP certified. Its video interviews are human-led or recorded, not AI-led. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: complex or public-sector employers that want ATS and CRM in one configurable platform.
4. Sense
Sense is a good match if you mainly use Phenom for candidate engagement. It says it turns your ATS into a talent engine with a conversational CRM, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, chatbots, referrals and scheduling. Its AI Recruiter is a team of agents for sourcing, engagement, screening and scheduling that act within recruiter-set guardrails, and its Voice AI places real-time phone screens with scorecards. Sense publishes starting prices: AI Recruiter from $3,000/mo, messaging from $500/mo, and the full TA platform from $7,000/mo.
Best for: staffing firms and high-volume teams that live in text and WhatsApp.
5. Paradox
Workday completed its acquisition of Paradox on October 1, 2025, and paradox.ai still runs under its own brand. Its assistant, Olivia, runs applications, screening questions, scheduling, events and onboarding over chat and SMS, and Paradox also sells a Conversational ATS and career-site builder. It doesn't describe a live voice or avatar interviewer. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: Workday shops filling frontline roles in retail, restaurants or healthcare through chat and text.
6. HireVue
If Phenom's AI Interviewer is the piece you'd miss most, HireVue covers that ground with a long track record. HireVue says its AI Interviewer drafts questions and rubrics from the job description, then runs a 24/7 two-way voice interview with probing follow-ups and writes results to the ATS. It also offers one-way and live video interviews and game-based and skills assessments. HireVue says its fairness audits cover NYC LL144. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: mid-market and enterprise teams that want interviews and validated assessments from one vendor.
When to stay with Phenom
Stay if you're using the whole platform. When the career site, CRM, scheduling, onboarding and talent marketplace all run on Phenom, swapping one piece rarely pays off, and its Voice Screening Agent already calls applicants soon after they apply. Stay if your security review leans on SOC 2 Type II, the ISO 27001 family and CSA STAR, which Phenom publishes. And stay if internal mobility is a priority, since none of the agents on this list replace a talent marketplace.

Questions
What is the best Phenom alternative for large enterprises?
If you want another broad platform, Avature and Eightfold AI are the nearest matches. Avature is a configurable ATS, CRM and talent management suite, and Eightfold is a talent-intelligence platform with an adaptive AI Interviewer. Both publish deep compliance credentials and neither publishes pricing.
Is there a Phenom alternative with public pricing?
Yes. NTRVSTA publishes all of its plans, starting with a free Starter plan for one open role. Sense publishes starting prices for each package, such as its AI Recruiter from $3,000 a month. Phenom, Avature, Eightfold, Paradox and HireVue do not publish plan prices.
Which Phenom competitors run AI voice or video interviews?
NTRVSTA runs live adaptive interviews by video avatar or audio. Eightfold says its AI Interviewer works by video, audio or text. HireVue runs a two-way voice AI Interviewer. Sense runs real-time phone screens. Paradox handles screening by chat and SMS, and Avature's video interviews are human-led or recorded.
Do I have to replace my ATS to leave Phenom?
No. Phenom sits on top of your system of record, and so do NTRVSTA, Sense, Eightfold and HireVue. Avature and Paradox also sell their own ATS, so choose them only if you want to change that layer too.
