NTRVSTA + Microsoft 365 Integration: AI Interviews with Microsoft 365

For organizations that run on Outlook, Excel and the rest of Microsoft 365 and want AI first-round interviews to fit how their teams already work.

Most large employers run on Microsoft 365, and their hiring managers answer email in Outlook between meetings. This page covers how NTRVSTA works with Microsoft 365, how teams use it and what setup involves. NTRVSTA connects to Microsoft 365.

What the Microsoft 365 integration does

A hiring process touches Outlook more than any recruiting tool: candidate emails, interview invitations, manager debriefs and offer conversations. The Microsoft 365 integration fits NTRVSTA interviews and follow-ups into the email and calendar tools your team already uses, so recruiters do not have to bounce between systems to keep a candidate moving. For organizations where hiring managers are spread across departments and buildings, that is often the difference between a candidate hearing back in a day and hearing back in a week.

In practice, the AI first round runs on the candidate schedule, without a meeting invite. Microsoft 365 matters for the steps on either side: reaching candidates, booking the next human round and getting the right people to read the result. Teams that track candidate lists in Excel can also connect it separately, since NTRVSTA connects to Excel too. None of this changes how your IT team manages Microsoft 365. It only means recruiters spend less time copying results from one window into another, and more time talking to the candidates who earned the next round.

How teams use NTRVSTA with Microsoft 365

  • Get managers to actually read results. A shareable report with a score breakdown and highlights lands where managers already work, in email.
  • Plan the human round in Outlook. After the AI interview, your team schedules the next conversation in the calendar it already uses.
  • Run a consistent process across departments. Finance, operations and engineering can all use structured, role-specific interviews, with technical exams for engineering roles and soft-skill exams for the rest.
  • Keep IT comfortable. Enterprise plans include SSO/SAML, and on-prem deployment is available on Enterprise.
  • Answer compliance questions before rollout. Legal and HR leaders can review our published NYC Local Law 144 bias audit on the compliance page before you roll the interview out across the company.

Setting it up

The NTRVSTA team sets up the Microsoft 365 connection. For most teams that takes a few days, depending on customization. A Microsoft 365 administrator, often in IT, needs to approve access for your tenant. Large organizations should expect their own review steps, such as a security questionnaire, to add time on their side.

If your team chats in Teams too, see the Microsoft Teams page. Book a demo to scope both.
