We should say up front that NTRVSTA wrote this list of AI interview tools for Workday, and NTRVSTA is the first entry. To make the cut, every other vendor had to name Workday as an integration on its own website. We attribute each claim to the company that made it and link the pages at the end.
TL;DR
Workday customers are usually large, so a Workday AI interview choice tends to split by hiring type. Hourly, high-volume roles suit chat and phone tools. Salaried, technical and professional roles suit a live interviewer that can follow up on what the candidate says. Several enterprise vendors here also bundle proctoring or assessments, which matters if you hire into regulated work.
- Best for live, adaptive interviews for corporate and technical roles, with public pricing: NTRVSTA (us)
- Best for frontline chat and SMS hiring inside the Workday family: Paradox
- Best for an AI video interviewer with strong proctoring: Talview (Ivy)
- Best for skills assessments at enterprise scale: iMocha (Tara)
- Best for a text-based interview every applicant can take on a phone: Sapia.ai
The picks at a glance
What actually matters when choosing a Workday AI interview tool
Start with which part of Workday you mean. Some vendors connect to the recruiting side of Workday, while others connect to Workday as the HR system of record. Ask every vendor to name the exact product and show you the record their results land on. "Works with Workday" on a logo wall can mean very different things.
Next, budget time for enterprise review. At Workday-sized companies, security, legal and works-council questions often decide the timeline more than the integration does. Vendors that publish their bias audits, security reports and data handling up front make those reviews shorter. If you hire in New York City, check for an NYC Local Law 144 audit; ours is on the compliance page.
Finally, match the format to the job family. A chat flow that books a warehouse shift in five minutes is the wrong tool for a finance analyst, and a 30-minute adaptive interview is the wrong tool for a seasonal picker. If you're unsure which format you need, our guide to one-way vs live AI interviews lays out the differences, and our high-volume hiring software list covers the hourly side.
1. NTRVSTA (us)
NTRVSTA lists Workday among the HR systems it integrates with. The NTRVSTA + Workday page describes the purpose: hired candidates and their interview context follow the person into Workday, so the hiring record and the employee record line up. We describe that connection at that level and set it up with your Workday owner, usually within a few days depending on customization.
The interview is a live conversation with an AI interviewer, shown as a video avatar or run as audio. It adapts its questions and difficulty to each answer. For technical roles it draws on an exam library (Java, Python, C++, React, Angular, DevOps tools and more) and a whiteboard for system design. For corporate roles it uses STAR behavioral questions and tests communication, problem-solving and leadership. Interviews can run in multiple languages, which helps global Workday customers. Enterprise plans add SSO/SAML, a dedicated CSM and an on-prem option, and our NYC LL144 audit by Asenion was finalized on October 20, 2026.
Where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit: high-volume hourly hiring driven by SMS apply and chat scheduling, where Paradox or a similar tool fits better. We're also a smaller company than most Workday vendors, with fewer published enterprise case studies.
Best for: Workday companies that want one adaptive first round for engineering, finance, operations and other salaried roles, with public pricing from $299/mo.

2. Paradox
Paradox has been part of Workday since that acquisition closed on October 1, 2025. Paradox still runs its own branded site, and it lists Workday and SAP SuccessFactors among its integrations. Its assistant, Olivia, talks with candidates by chat and SMS to handle applications, screening questions, interview scheduling, hiring events and onboarding. Paradox says Olivia detects 100+ languages and translates messages. Paradox doesn't describe a real-time voice or avatar interviewer, and pricing isn't published.
Best for: Workday customers hiring frontline staff in retail, restaurants, franchises or healthcare who want apply-to-schedule automation by text.
3. Talview (Ivy)
Talview lists Workday and SAP SuccessFactors as integrations, and sells through the Azure Marketplace and an SAP partner listing. Its AI interviewer, Ivy, is described as a human-like video interview with brand-aligned, multilingual personas that asks contextual follow-ups and evaluates answers in real time. Talview's bigger strength is integrity: AI proctoring (Alvy), identity checks, and live interview rooms with deepfake detection.
Pricing is custom and unit-based, with a minimum commitment of roughly 150 to 200 candidates, per Talview's pricing page.
Best for: enterprises and certification bodies on Workday that need an AI interviewer and serious proctoring together.
4. iMocha (Tara)
iMocha lists Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle as integrations. It calls itself a skills intelligence platform, with 10,000+ assessments across coding, cognitive, domain and communication skills. Its AI interviewer, Tara, greets candidates after an audio check, asks questions they answer out loud, follows up based on those answers, and scores skills against role profiles. iMocha says it holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: large employers, especially IT services firms, that want a deep assessment catalog with a voice interviewer added on.
5. Sapia.ai
Sapia.ai lists Workday among ATS partners that also includes SuccessFactors, iCIMS and Greenhouse, and says results are pushed into the employer's ATS. Its interview is a structured text chat, so candidates type their answers on a phone rather than speak. Sapia says its AI interviews date back to 2018 and have assessed more than 10M candidates. It links an independent disparate impact analysis by BLDS from its homepage, and lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 42001.
Best for: high-volume Workday employers that want every applicant to get a written first-round interview.
6. Humanly
Humanly lists Workday, along with SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, UKG and Oracle Taleo. It engages applicants by SMS, email, chat and voice, runs structured AI interviews over chat, voice or video, schedules interviews, and hands recruiters a ranked shortlist with transcripts. Humanly says its AI interviewer asks every candidate the same structured questions. It has grown by acquisition, adding Qualifi, Sprockets and HourWork in 2025, and now also sells an ATS. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: Workday customers with large frontline funnels who want engagement, screening and scheduling from one vendor.
7. VidCruiter
VidCruiter lists Workday among its integrations, with Dayforce, SAP, Oracle, ADP and UKG. It offers one-way and live panel video interviews, structured interview guides, scheduling, reference checks and skills testing. Today its AI scores recorded answers and writes notes and summaries; VidCruiter calls these tools assistive, not autonomous. Its site lists an AI Interviewer as coming soon. VidCruiter says it holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: public-sector and enterprise Workday teams that want structured video interviews run by people, with heavy compliance coverage.
8. Classet
Classet lists Workday and Dayforce through its ATS Sync offering, which starts at $1,995/mo and is scoped on a discovery call. Its AI recruiter, Joy, phones applicants for a first interview using your questions and must-haves, then schedules and follows up by text and email. Each call is labeled Strong, Good, Borderline or Weak with quoted evidence, and Classet says it runs monthly bias audits through Warden AI. The Hiring Hub plan starts at $249/mo billed annually, with 20 free interviews on every account.
Best for: hourly employers on Workday in trades, logistics or healthcare that want fast phone screens.

Questions
Is Paradox the default AI interview choice now that Workday owns it?
Only for some roles. Workday completed its Paradox acquisition on October 1, 2025, and Paradox describes Olivia as chat and SMS screening and scheduling for high-volume, frontline hiring. If you need a spoken or video interview for salaried, technical or professional roles, look at the live interviewers on this list too.
Who should own an AI interview project at a Workday company?
Usually talent acquisition, with the Workday integration owner and security team brought in early. Enterprise reviews often take longer than the vendor setup itself, so start them in parallel with the pilot rather than after it.
Can one AI interview tool cover hourly and corporate hiring in Workday?
Rarely well. Chat and SMS tools such as Paradox or Classet are built for fast hourly funnels, while live interviewers such as NTRVSTA, Talview and iMocha are aimed at roles where you want to hear reasoning. Many large employers run one of each.
What should I ask vendors about their Workday integration?
Ask which Workday product they connect to, which plan includes it, what appears on the candidate or worker record, and who maintains the connection when Workday updates. Get the answers in writing, since integration lists on websites can lag behind reality.
