Best AI interview tools for Lever in 2026

Eight interview tools whose vendors publish a Lever integration, from live AI interviewers to coding tests and one-way video.

Full disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this list, and we're one of the eight Lever AI interview tools on it. We only included tools whose vendors publish a Lever integration on their own sites, and we cite those pages at the end.

TL;DR

If you run hiring in Lever and want a Lever AI interview, you have three kinds of options: a live AI interviewer (NTRVSTA, Metaview, BrightHire Screen, HackerRank Chakra), a coding test (Codility), or one-way video (Willo, Hireflix). Pick by the round you want to automate, then confirm exactly what writes back to the candidate profile.

  • Best for live, adaptive AI interviews for any role, with public pricing: NTRVSTA (us)
  • Best for notes plus an AI voice screen: Metaview
  • Best for interview analytics and an async AI screen: BrightHire
  • Best for engineering roles: HackerRank (Chakra)
  • Best for low-cost one-way video: Hireflix

What actually matters in a Lever AI interview integration

An integration badge tells you very little. What you want to know is what happens inside Lever. Can a stage change send the interview invite on its own? Does the score, summary or recording land on the candidate profile, or just a link? Can the tool move candidates to the next stage, or only add a note? Ask each vendor to show you the full loop in a Lever sandbox before you sign.

Next, check plan gating. Several vendors include Lever only on higher tiers, so the price on the website may not be the price with the integration. Then think about who reads the results. Hiring managers who live in Lever won't log into another tool, so a clean summary on the profile beats a beautiful dashboard elsewhere.

Finally, pick the round you're automating. A live AI interviewer replaces the recruiter screen. A coding test replaces the take-home. One-way video replaces the phone call with recorded answers. Our guide to one-way vs live AI interviews covers the trade-offs, and our candidate screening software list has options outside Lever.

1. NTRVSTA (us)

NTRVSTA lists Lever as an ATS integration on its homepage. Its AI interviewer talks with candidates live, as a video avatar or by audio, and adapts questions and difficulty to every answer. It covers technical roles (an exam library of languages and frameworks, plus system design on an interactive whiteboard) and non-technical ones (STAR behavioral questions, communication and leadership). You get a score breakdown, video snippets of key moments, and a shareable report. AI resume scoring ranks every resume against the job description.

Pricing is public: a $0 Free Demo, then Starter $299/mo, Growth $699/mo and Scale $1,999/mo. Most teams are set up within a few days. In a demo, ask us to walk through how results appear in your Lever account.

Where NTRVSTA isn't the right fit: it's a screening layer, not an ATS, its native ATS list is shorter than big suites', and its public API is coming soon rather than live. It isn't built for high-volume hourly hiring with SMS apply.

Best for: Lever teams that want a live, adaptive first round for engineering and business roles alike.

2. Metaview

Metaview lists Lever alongside Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem and SmartRecruiters. It began as an interview notetaker and now sells modular AI agents for sourcing, application review, screening, notes and outreach. Its Screening agent, launched in September 2026, runs a two-way voice conversation that Metaview says adapts to the role and to each answer, and returns a recording, summary and rubric score.

The first 25 screens are free, and sourcing plans are $0, $100 and $300 per user a month. Full-platform pricing is custom.

Best for: Lever teams that want interview notes and an AI voice screen from one vendor.

3. BrightHire

BrightHire's integrations page lists Lever alongside Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS and many others. BrightHire records and transcribes human interviews, writes notes and scorecards, and coaches interviewers. BrightHire Screen adds an asynchronous two-way AI screen by voice or video, with follow-ups drawn from the job description. Zoom closed its acquisition of BrightHire in December 2025, and BrightHire says it stays platform-agnostic. Pricing isn't published.

Best for: Lever teams that want analytics on every human interview plus an AI first round.

4. HackerRank (Chakra)

HackerRank lists Lever among 40+ ATS, calendar and video integrations, and also offers a REST API. Its AI interviewer, Chakra, went generally available on October 5, 2026. It opens a canvas with a real-world problem, watches how the candidate works with an AI assistant, and asks adaptive voice follow-ups. HackerRank's FAQ lists ATS integrations on the Pro plan ($449/mo). Chakra's price isn't published, so confirm how Chakra results reach Lever.

Best for: engineering teams on Lever who want to test coding and AI fluency in one session.

5. Codility

Codility lists Lever with Greenhouse, Ashby, Workday and SAP. It doesn't sell an AI interviewer. Instead it offers async coding tasks and structured live technical interviews in a VS Code environment, where you decide how candidates can use its AI Copilot. Codility adds proctoring, ID checks and impersonation detection. Starter is $1,200 a year and Scale is $6,000.

Best for: Lever teams that want rigorous, proctored coding tests with human-led interviews.

6. Glider AI

Glider AI lists Lever among its integrations, alongside staffing systems like Bullhorn, Beeline and JobDiva. It offers AI voice phone screens, AI and one-way video interviews, live coding, skills assessments, ID verification and proctoring. Findem announced a definitive agreement to acquire Glider AI on March 19, 2026, and the Glider brand continues within Findem. Pricing isn't published.

Best for: Lever customers with contingent or staffing programs that need skills checks and proctoring.

7. Willo

Willo lists Lever among 50+ native integrations on its Enterprise plan. Candidates answer structured questions on their own schedule by video, text, file upload or multiple choice, and Willo Intelligence adds transcripts, summaries and suggested follow-up questions for a human to review. It supports 18+ languages and offers ID and right-to-work checks. Lite is GBP 49 per live role a month; Enterprise starts at GBP 2,999 a year.

Best for: UK and EU teams on Lever that want async video with identity checks.

8. Hireflix

Hireflix lists Lever among its ATS integrations and also offers a GraphQL API and webhooks. It's deliberately simple: one-way video, with candidates recording answers on any device without an app. Hireflix's site doesn't mention AI features. Small is $75/mo billed yearly, Medium is $150/mo, and both come with a one-month free trial.

Best for: small Lever teams that want the cheapest possible async screen.

  • You need sourcing into Lever, not interviews: Juicebox, which lists Lever sync on its Business plan. Our AI recruiting tools guide covers more.

Questions

Does Lever have a built-in AI interviewer?

Our research covered interview vendors, not Lever's own roadmap, so check Lever's current product pages. Most teams add an AI interviewer through an integration, using one of the tools on this list that publishes a Lever connection.

How do I check if a tool really integrates with Lever?

Look for the integration on the vendor's own integrations page or in Lever's partner marketplace. Then ask for a demo inside a Lever sandbox: trigger an interview from a stage change and watch the result land on the candidate profile.

Do Lever integrations cost extra?

Sometimes. Willo lists its 50+ native integrations on the Enterprise plan, Juicebox puts ATS sync on its Business plan, and HackerRank lists ATS integrations on Pro. Ask every vendor whether the Lever connector is included in the plan you're buying.

Can I run AI interviews for Lever roles outside the US?

Yes, but check languages and data rules per country. BrightHire says Screen supports 30+ languages and Metaview says its screen works in most major languages. NTRVSTA interviews can run in multiple languages too, so test the ones you need.

Running Lever and curious how a live AI first round would fit? Book a 20-minute demo, or try a sample interview yourself before you talk to anyone. For a broader view, see our best AI interviewers list.

Every integration, price and feature here was checked in October 2026. Integration lists change, so confirm Lever support and plan requirements with each vendor before you buy.
