Glider AI alternatives: 6 tools to compare as Findem takes over

Glider AI bundles skills tests, proctoring, ID checks and AI screening for staffing. If the Findem deal or the interview format has you looking, these are the main options.

We wrote this, and we're on it: NTRVSTA is one of the six Glider AI alternatives below. Every claim about the other vendors comes from their own pages or official announcements, all linked in the Sources section.

Glider AI has been a staffing industry workhorse. It groups its product into Engage, Verify, Assess and Interview, covering AI voice phone screens, a chatbot, ID checks, AI proctoring, coding simulations, one-way and AI video interviews, and live coding. Customers it names include FedEx, Infosys and Mastercard. The reason many teams are looking at Glider AI alternatives and competitors now is ownership: on March 19, 2026, Findem announced a definitive agreement to acquire Glider AI. Glider's homepage now headlines the deal, and the brand carries on inside Findem. Other reasons are structural. Glider doesn't publish prices, doesn't list resume screening, and doesn't publish an NYC Local Law 144 bias audit. Its pages also stop short of describing a real-time adaptive interviewer. If proctored skills tests for contingent workers are the core of your process, though, Glider covers ground few others do.

1. NTRVSTA (us)

NTRVSTA replaces the interview half of Glider, not the proctoring half. Candidates talk with a live AI interviewer, as a video avatar or as audio only, whenever they're ready. The interviewer adapts in real time: stronger answers bring harder questions, weaker ones bring easier ones, so you see where a person's skill tops out. For technical roles, the exam library spans Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, React, Angular, Node.js, DevOps tools and AI/ML, and system-design questions come with an interactive whiteboard. For other roles, it uses STAR behavioral questions and soft-skill checks for communication, problem-solving and leadership. AI resume scoring ranks applicants before the interview, which Glider doesn't list.

Pricing is public on our pricing page, and the NYC LL144 audit Asenion finalized on October 20, 2026 is on our compliance page. Now the gaps. We don't sell proctoring, ID verification or coding simulations, and Beeline and Magnit aren't on our integration list. We do integrate with Bullhorn, JobDiva, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and many other HR systems. Our NTRVSTA vs Glider AI comparison has the full feature table.

Best for: staffing and in-house teams that care most about the quality of the first-round conversation and want a published price.

2. Talview

Talview is the alternative that matches Glider's integrity stack most closely. Its Ivy agent runs AI video interviews with contextual follow-ups, and Talview adds AI proctoring, live proctoring by certified human proctors, ID verification and interview rooms that it says detect impersonation and deepfakes. Talview lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and it sells through the Azure Marketplace and an SAP SuccessFactors partner listing. Pricing is custom and unit based, and Talview's pricing page describes a minimum commitment of roughly 150 to 200 candidates.

Best for: certification bodies and enterprises that need proctored exams and AI interviews from the same vendor.

3. iMocha (Tara)

If Glider's Assess module is what you'd miss most, look at iMocha. It says it has 10,000+ validated assessments across coding, cognitive, domain and communication skills, with proctored testing. Its AI interviewer, Tara, asks questions candidates answer out loud and follows up based on what they say, scoring skills against role profiles. iMocha lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 and connects to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle. It doesn't publish pricing.

Best for: IT services companies and large enterprises that want a deep test library and skills data.

4. Alex

Alex, formerly Apriora, pairs an interviewer with the fraud tools Glider buyers value. Alex says it scores applications for fraud risk, then interviews candidates by phone or video around the clock. Its Proctor option looks for second voices, tab switching and AI-written answers, and its Identity option checks a government ID against a live selfie. Alex lists 30 languages and 33+ ATS integrations, and names Randstad and Tier4 Group among its customers. Pricing is on request.

Best for: staffing firms that need fraud and identity checks tied to every first-round interview.

5. HeyMilo

HeyMilo is a good fit for agencies that want Glider's screening without its assessment depth. Its agents interview by two-way voice or video and screen by SMS and forms, in 20+ languages, with written reasoning behind each score. Its cheat-detection features combine AI-answer detection, proctoring for off-screen glances and voice biometrics into one trust score. It lists Bullhorn, JobDiva, Avionté and Salesforce among many ATS integrations. Pricing isn't published.

Best for: staffing teams that want interview and fraud signals in one report, synced to a staffing ATS.

6. Vervoe

Vervoe leans further into skills testing than Glider. Its AI Assessment Builder drafts job simulations (spreadsheets, code, video, text and multiple choice) from a job description, and machine learning models grade and rank candidates with explainable scores. It adds chat and voice screening, ID checks and proctoring, plus a 120-day post-hire feedback loop. Vervoe says Holistic AI has verified its NYC bias audit, and it lists ISO/IEC 27001. Prices are on request.

Best for: teams that would rather watch candidates do the work than hear them talk about it.

When to stay with Glider AI

  • You run a contingent workforce program through a VMS or MSP. Glider lists Beeline, Magnit and Talos next to staffing ATS tools like Bullhorn and JobDiva.
  • You need skills tests, coding simulations, AI proctoring and ID verification under one contract.
  • You already use Findem, or plan to. Keeping sourcing and skills checks with one owner may mean fewer vendors to manage.
  • Your recruiters are trained on Glider and your clients accept its reports, so the cost of switching is real.

If you're still sorting through options, our guides to pre-employment assessment software and online proctoring go deeper, and AI recruiting tools for staffing agencies covers the staffing angle.

Questions

Is Glider AI now part of Findem?

Findem announced a definitive agreement to acquire Glider AI on March 19, 2026, without disclosing terms. Glider's homepage now carries a Findem Acquires Glider AI headline, and Glider continues as a brand inside Findem. Ask your account team what changes for your contract and integrations.

Which Glider AI competitors also offer proctoring?

Talview, Alex, HeyMilo, iMocha and Vervoe each describe some form of proctoring, cheat detection or ID verification. Talview goes furthest, with human and AI proctoring plus deepfake detection in live interview rooms. NTRVSTA doesn't sell proctoring or ID checks.

Does Glider AI have a live AI interviewer?

Glider lists AI video interviews and an AI voice recruiter for phone screens. Its pages don't confirm a real-time interview that adapts to each answer. Talview's Ivy, iMocha's Tara, Alex, HeyMilo and NTRVSTA all describe interviews with follow-ups based on what the candidate says.

Which Glider AI alternative is cheapest to test?

NTRVSTA's Free Demo plan costs $0 and includes 50 credits, and you can sit a sample interview at app.ntrvsta.com. Talview says pilots above 10 candidates may be charged. Alex, HeyMilo, iMocha and Vervoe don't publish a trial on the pages we checked, so ask each about a pilot.
