Disclosure: we're the NTRVSTA team, and our product is one of the six ConverzAI alternatives below. Facts about the other vendors come from their own sites, plus press coverage for funding news, and every link is in the Sources section.
ConverzAI is a focused tool. Its Virtual Recruiter calls, texts and emails candidates for staffing firms, screens them by phone, reactivates people already sitting in your ATS, and writes notes back to systems like Bullhorn, JobDiva, Avionté, Ceipal and TempWorks. Press coverage reports a $16M Series A in February 2025. Recruiters look at ConverzAI alternatives and competitors for a few structural reasons. ConverzAI doesn't publish prices or a free trial. It describes phone, SMS and email channels, and doesn't mention a video or avatar interview. It doesn't publish how its interviews adapt to answers. And its bias audit claim doesn't name NYC Local Law 144. If database reactivation on a staffing ATS is your main goal, though, ConverzAI was built for exactly that.
The ConverzAI alternatives at a glance
1. NTRVSTA (us)
Staffing firms pick NTRVSTA when the problem is quality of submission, not reach. A recruiter can send a link and let the candidate interview 24/7 with a live AI interviewer, as a video avatar or as audio only. The interview gets harder or easier depending on how the candidate answers, so a senior Java developer and a junior help-desk tech get different conversations. The exam library covers Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, DevOps tools and AI/ML, and system-design rounds use an interactive whiteboard. You get a score breakdown, video snippets of key moments and a shareable report you can send to your client. AI resume scoring ranks your applicants against the job order first.
We integrate with the staffing systems ConverzAI users tend to run, including Bullhorn, JobDiva, Avionté, Ceipal, TempWorks and Salesforce, and we offer a REST API and SFTP. Prices are public, and our NYC LL144 audit is on our compliance page. Where we're weaker: NTRVSTA doesn't do outbound calling campaigns or ATS reactivation, and it isn't built for SMS-driven hourly placements. See NTRVSTA vs ConverzAI for the full comparison.
Best for: IT, engineering and professional staffing teams that want to send clients candidates who've already passed a real skills interview.

2. Alex
Alex (formerly Apriora) is an AI recruiter that many agencies weigh against ConverzAI. It says it scores applications for fraud risk, screens resumes, runs a first-round interview by phone or video at any hour, books qualified people onto calendars and rediscovers past candidates in the ATS. Its optional Proctor and Identity features watch for outside help and match a government ID to a live selfie. Alex says it supports 30 languages and 33+ ATS integrations, and it raised $20M across a seed and Series A, announced in September 2025. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: agencies whose clients keep catching proxy interviewees or fake identities.
3. HeyMilo
HeyMilo's ATS list reads like a staffing buyer's checklist: Bullhorn, Avionté, JobDiva, Salesforce and Manatal sit alongside Greenhouse, Workday and iCIMS. It says its agents interview by two-way voice and video, screen by SMS and forms, work 24/7 in 20+ languages, and explain each score in writing. HeyMilo also auto-scores resumes and adds ID verification, voice biometrics and cheat detection. It says it has third-party bias audits without naming LL144, and it shows a SOC 2 badge. No public pricing.
Best for: staffing firms that want a video option ConverzAI doesn't describe, without leaving their ATS.
4. Tenzo
Tenzo overlaps with ConverzAI on rediscovery. It says Morgan, its AI recruiter, searches your ATS for past candidates, then interviews by phone or video, reviews resumes, flags fraud and books meetings, writing notes and statuses back to the ATS. Tenzo lists 40+ languages, WhatsApp and email outreach, SOC 2 Type 2, and an option for candidates to opt out of the AI interview. Its customers include Agilus Work Solutions and Synergie Canada. Pricing is quoted by volume.
Best for: agencies placing multilingual candidates who want rediscovery and interviews from one agent.
5. Glider AI
Glider AI comes at staffing from the skills side. Its platform groups Engage (an AI recruiter, voice phone screens and a chatbot), Verify (ID checks and AI proctoring), Assess (technical tests and coding simulations) and Interview (AI video, one-way video and live coding). Its integration list puts Beeline and Magnit next to Bullhorn and JobDiva. Glider's pages don't confirm a real-time adaptive interviewer.
Ownership is in motion: Findem announced a definitive agreement to acquire Glider AI on March 19, 2026, and Glider continues as a brand inside Findem. Pricing isn't published.
Best for: contingent workforce programs that need proctored, tested skills before a submittal.
6. Classet
Classet is the simplest swap if your desks place hourly workers. Joy calls each applicant soon after they apply, works through your questions and must-haves, and handles scheduling by text and email, with a 24/7 call-to-apply line. Each call gets a Strong, Good, Borderline or Weak label with quotes. Unlike ConverzAI, Classet posts a price: Hiring Hub from $249 a month billed annually, including 50 completed interviews. Its published ATS list (Indeed, Reelist, Workday and Dayforce) doesn't include the staffing systems ConverzAI connects to, so check fit first.
Best for: light industrial and hourly staffing desks that can work outside a staffing ATS.
When to stay with ConverzAI
ConverzAI is hard to beat if your biggest asset is a large, stale candidate database. Matching past candidates to new job orders and calling them back is central to how it describes the product, and it connects to a deep bench of staffing systems: Avionté, Bullhorn, Ceipal, Erecruit, JobDiva, LaborEdge, Salesforce, TargetRecruit, TempWorks, Tracker and custom builds. It also says it's SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliant, which matters to healthcare staffing firms. If those fit your desk, switching may cost more than it saves.

Questions
What does ConverzAI do?
ConverzAI sells a Virtual Recruiter for staffing firms. It says the agent contacts candidates by phone, text and email, can lead interviews autonomously, matches people already in your ATS to open roles, and writes the results back to the ATS.
Which ConverzAI competitors work with Bullhorn?
Among the tools here, HeyMilo and Glider AI list Bullhorn among their integrations, and NTRVSTA integrates with Bullhorn too. Tenzo says it has 57+ ATS integrations but shares the full list only on request, and Alex lists 33+ without naming them on its homepage.
Does ConverzAI publish a bias audit?
ConverzAI says it has third-party AI bias audits but doesn't name NYC Local Law 144 in the sources we checked. NTRVSTA publishes an LL144 audit by Asenion, finalized October 20, 2026, on its compliance page. If you place candidates for New York City employers, ask each vendor for its audit summary.
How much does ConverzAI cost?
ConverzAI doesn't publish pricing. Neither do Alex, HeyMilo, Tenzo or Glider AI. On this list, NTRVSTA and Classet are the two that post prices, so for the rest you'll need a quote based on your desk count and volume.
