Disclosure first: NTRVSTA wrote this Talview comparison, and we sell the other product in it. Everything we say about Talview comes from Talview's own pages, listed under Sources at the bottom.
The short answer
Talview and NTRVSTA both put an AI interviewer in front of candidates, so this is a closer match than most comparisons. Choose Talview if interview integrity is your biggest worry: it pairs its Ivy AI interviewer with AI proctoring, identity checks and deepfake detection, and it serves many exam and certification bodies. Choose NTRVSTA if you want public pricing from $299/mo, adaptive difficulty that shifts with each answer, AI resume scoring, and a published NYC Local Law 144 bias audit. Talview prices by custom quote with a minimum commitment.
Side by side: Talview vs NTRVSTA
How NTRVSTA works
A candidate opens the link whenever it suits them, day or night, and talks with an AI interviewer that appears as a video avatar or speaks as audio only. The interviewer listens to each answer and adjusts. A strong answer earns a harder follow-up. A weak one gets an easier question, so you find each person's real level instead of a pass or fail on a fixed script.
The same tool handles a backend engineer and an account manager. Our exam library spans languages like Java, Python, C++ and JavaScript, frameworks like React, Angular and Node.js, AI/ML and DevOps tools, and soft skills. Behavioral questions follow STAR, a hint system shows how candidates use guidance, and system-design rounds get an interactive whiteboard. Interviews can be branded, customized per role and run in multiple languages.
Every interview produces a score breakdown (technical skills, English proficiency, communication), video snippets of the key moments, and a report you can share. AI resume scoring ranks the applicant pool before anyone is invited. We plug into your ATS (Lever and others), and most teams are live within a few days.
How Talview works
Talview sells a set of AI agents. Ivy is its AI interviewer, which Talview describes as a multilingual, brand-aligned persona that asks contextual follow-ups and scores responses in real time, producing transcripts and scores. Candidates pick their own time and take the interview in a browser. Alvy handles AI proctoring, and Livy is an assistant.
Around those agents, Talview offers identity verification, live interview rooms with deepfake detection, telephone screening and scheduling. Talview says much of its customer base is assessment and exam bodies, and it names Cambridge Assessment, PwC, Cognizant, TCS, Best Buy and NVIDIA among its customers. It's sold through the Azure Marketplace and listed as an SAP SuccessFactors partner.
On security, Talview lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and WCAG 2.1. We didn't find a published NYC Local Law 144 bias audit on the pages we checked.
When Talview is the better choice
- You run high-stakes exams or certifications and need proctoring, identity verification and deepfake detection in the same platform as the interview.
- You're standardized on SAP SuccessFactors or Workday and want a vendor already listed as an SAP partner.
- Your procurement team prefers to buy through the Azure Marketplace with existing Azure credits, which Talview's pricing page says it accepts.
- Your security review requires a SOC 2 Type II report or ISO 27001. Talview lists both, and we don't publish them today.
Some limits on our side are worth stating plainly. NTRVSTA screens and interviews; it doesn't replace your ATS. Our native integration list is shorter than the big suites', and our public API is still marked "coming soon." Hourly hiring at very high volume, with SMS apply and chat scheduling, is better served by conversational tools like Paradox or Fountain. If you'd rather have human interviewers, a service like Karat fits. We're also a younger, smaller company with fewer published enterprise case studies than Talview.
Pricing compared
Talview doesn't list prices. Its pricing page describes custom, unit-based pricing where you pay per feature unit, with a minimum commitment of roughly 150 to 200 candidates. It says pilots may be charged once they go beyond 10 candidates.
NTRVSTA's plans are on our pricing section, and you pay in credits. Audio interviews cost 1 credit per minute and avatar interviews cost 3. The Free Demo is $0 with 50 credits. Starter is $299/mo for 1,500 credits (about 30 interviews). Growth is $699/mo for 4,000 credits (about 80 interviews). Scale is $1,999/mo for 12,500 credits (about 250 interviews) with an SLA. Enterprise is custom, with SSO/SAML, a dedicated CSM and on-prem available.
On Growth at 80 interviews a month, that's about $8.74 per interview, or $0.35 per minute. Choosing audio over an avatar cuts the credit cost of a 25-minute interview from 75 credits to 25. Our AI interview pricing guide shows how to compare a credit plan with a quote like Talview's.
Who should pick which
- If proctoring and identity checks matter as much as the interview itself, pick Talview.
- If you want to price out a pilot today without a sales call, pick NTRVSTA.
- If you hire a few dozen people a month and can't commit to 150 or more candidates up front, pick NTRVSTA.
- If you buy software through Azure or SAP channels, pick Talview.
- If your legal team wants to read an LL144 audit summary before signing, pick NTRVSTA, since ours is public.
- If you want AI resume ranking in the same tool as the interview, pick NTRVSTA.

Questions
Is Talview's Ivy a real-time AI interviewer?
Talview says Ivy is a human-like AI video interview agent that asks contextual follow-up questions and evaluates answers in real time. NTRVSTA also runs a live interview, as a video avatar or audio only, and changes question difficulty based on each answer.
What is Talview's minimum commitment?
Talview's pricing page describes custom, unit-based pricing with a minimum commitment of roughly 150 to 200 candidates, and says pilots above 10 candidates may be charged. NTRVSTA has no minimum: the Free Demo is $0 and Starter is $299/mo.
Does Talview have an NYC Local Law 144 bias audit?
We didn't find one published on the Talview pages we checked. Talview lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and WCAG 2.1. NTRVSTA's independent LL144 bias audit by Asenion was finalized on October 20, 2026, and is summarized on our compliance page.
Can NTRVSTA proctor exams the way Talview does?
No. NTRVSTA is built for interviews, not proctored exams, and we don't sell identity verification or deepfake detection as products. If those are must-haves, Talview's Alvy proctoring agent is designed for that job.
The fastest way to judge an AI interviewer is to sit through one. Book a 20-minute demo with our team, or start a sample interview as a candidate. Audit details live on our compliance page.
We checked pricing and features for every product here in October 2026. They change often, so confirm with each vendor before you buy.
