Talview alternatives: 6 AI interview and integrity tools for 2026

Some teams want Talview's integrity features without the minimums. Others want a different interviewer. Here's how the options line up.

Disclosure: NTRVSTA wrote this guide to Talview alternatives, and we're one of the six products on it. We describe every other vendor using only its own pages and announcements, which are linked in the Sources list.

Talview sells a bundle: Ivy, an AI video interviewer, plus Alvy for AI proctoring, identity verification and live interview rooms with deepfake detection. That bundle is why many teams buy it, and also why some go looking at Talview competitors. Pricing isn't published, and Talview's pricing page describes custom, unit-based plans with a minimum commitment of roughly 150 to 200 candidates. No free trial is listed, and pilots above 10 candidates may be charged. Talview doesn't list resume scoring, and we didn't find a published NYC Local Law 144 bias audit. Some buyers want a different interview style; others want the integrity tools on different terms. If you run proctored exams or certifications, though, Talview may be hard to replace, and we cover that case below.

1. NTRVSTA (us)

If you mostly use Ivy, NTRVSTA is the closest swap with public pricing. Candidates talk with a live AI interviewer, as a video avatar or audio only, at any hour. It changes the difficulty as they answer: harder after a strong answer, easier after a weak one. It covers engineers (an exam library plus a system-design whiteboard) and non-technical roles (STAR behavioral questions and soft skills). AI resume scoring ranks your applicants against the job description before anyone is invited, which Talview doesn't list.

You can start on the $0 Free Demo plan, and every paid plan is a monthly credit bundle listed on our pricing page. Our NYC Local Law 144 bias audit, completed by Asenion and finalized October 20, 2026, is on our compliance page. Here is the honest gap: NTRVSTA doesn't sell proctoring, identity verification or deepfake detection. If those are must-haves, look at Alex, Eightfold or Glider below. We're also not an ATS, and our API is still "coming soon." Our NTRVSTA vs Talview comparison goes row by row.

Best for: hiring teams that want an adaptive AI interview for any role, a free plan to test, and a published bias audit.

2. Alex

Alex (formerly Apriora) is the nearest match to Talview's integrity focus among AI recruiters. Alex says it scores applications for fraud risk, screens resumes, and runs an always-on first-round interview by phone or video. It then books qualified candidates onto team calendars. Alex also offers real-time proctoring and an ID check that matches a government ID to a live selfie. It says it supports 30 languages and 33+ ATS integrations.

Alex doesn't publish prices; its pricing page offers a 30-minute demo.

Best for: recruiting teams whose biggest worry is fake or proxy candidates, and who want the interview and the ID check from the same AI recruiter.

3. Eightfold AI Interviewer

Eightfold says its AI Interviewer runs adaptive, conversational interviews by video, audio or text, covering screening, STAR questions, coding, soft skills and CEFR language checks. It lists ID.me and CLEAR identity checks, and says it judges only the content of answers, not facial expressions, tone or accent.

Eightfold's compliance list is long: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001, FedRAMP Moderate, and an independent NYC Local Law 144 bias audit with published results. The interviewer is sold inside Eightfold's Talent Intelligence Platform, and pricing isn't published.

Best for: large enterprises and public-sector buyers that need identity checks and heavy certifications in a wider talent suite.

4. HireVue

HireVue's AI Interviewer, launched in June 2026, runs a two-way voice interview 24/7 with probing follow-up questions. HireVue says it drafts questions and rubrics from your job description, scores each answer against the role, and writes results to your ATS. It also sells one-way and live video and assessments.

For buyers who chose Talview for its security paperwork, HireVue lists SOC 2 Type 2, ISO/IEC 27001 and FedRAMP, and says its fairness audits cover NYC Local Law 144. It doesn't publish pricing and doesn't describe proctoring the way Talview does.

Best for: enterprises that want an AI interviewer, video and assessments from one vendor with a long compliance record.

5. iMocha (Tara)

iMocha now calls itself a skills intelligence platform. It says it has 10,000+ validated assessments (coding, cognitive, domain and communication) and offers proctored tests. Its AI interviewer, Tara, greets candidates after an audio check, asks questions they answer out loud, follows up based on their answers and scores skills in real time against role profiles, per iMocha.

iMocha lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, integrates with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle, and doesn't publish pricing.

Best for: IT services firms and large enterprises that care as much about skills data as about the interview.

6. Glider AI

Glider AI covers much of what Talview does, organized as Engage (AI recruiter, voice phone screens, chatbot), Verify (ID verification, AI proctoring), Assess (technical tests, coding simulations) and Interview (AI video, one-way video, live coding). Its pages don't confirm a real-time adaptive interviewer. It's heavily used by staffing firms.

Ownership is changing: on March 19, 2026, Findem said it had signed a definitive agreement to buy Glider AI. Glider keeps its brand inside Findem, and its prices aren't published.

Best for: staffing firms that need skills checks, proctoring and ID verification in one stack, and are comfortable with the Findem transition.

When to stay with Talview

Talview fits best where cheating and identity are the core risk. If you run certification exams or other high-stakes assessments, its mix of proctoring, ID checks and deepfake detection in the same platform as the AI interviewer is a real advantage. It's also a strong fit if you buy through the Azure Marketplace with existing credits, or if you're an SAP SuccessFactors shop, since Talview has a partner listing there. And if your security team needs SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 documents, Talview lists both. Leaving would mean stitching tools together.

Questions

Who are Talview's main competitors?

For AI interviews with identity and fraud checks, the closest Talview competitors are Alex, Eightfold and Glider AI. For an AI interviewer without proctoring, NTRVSTA, HireVue and iMocha's Tara are the usual comparisons. The right pick depends on whether integrity tools or the interview itself is your priority.

Which Talview alternative has public pricing?

On this list, only NTRVSTA publishes prices, from a $0 Free Demo plan to $1,999/mo for Scale, with custom Enterprise plans. Alex, Eightfold, HireVue, iMocha and Glider AI all quote on request, like Talview.

Does NTRVSTA offer proctoring like Talview?

No. NTRVSTA is an AI interviewer with adaptive questions and AI resume scoring. It doesn't sell proctoring, identity verification or deepfake detection, so if you need those, Talview, Alex, Eightfold or Glider AI are better fits.

Can I try a Talview alternative before committing?

NTRVSTA has a $0 Free Demo plan with 50 credits, and anyone can take a sample interview at app.ntrvsta.com. None of the other vendors here publishes a self-serve trial on the pages we checked, so ask each one about a pilot.

Curious whether an adaptive interviewer would work for your roles? Grab a 20-minute demo slot, or take a sample interview first and judge it as a candidate would.

We checked pricing and features for every product here in October 2026. They change often, so confirm with each vendor before you buy.
