Full disclosure: this Vervoe vs NTRVSTA comparison was written by NTRVSTA, so we're one of the two products being compared. We kept Vervoe's side to what Vervoe publishes on its own site, and every source is linked at the bottom.
The short answer
These two tools answer different questions. Vervoe asks "can this person do the work?" with job simulations and skills tests that its models grade and rank. NTRVSTA asks "how does this person think and communicate?" with a live AI interview that adapts as they answer. Choose Vervoe if you hire on demonstrated work samples, want an API, and want to track how hires perform after 120 days. Choose NTRVSTA if you want a real-time conversational first round for technical and non-technical roles, AI resume scoring, and prices you can see before a sales call.
Side by side: Vervoe vs NTRVSTA
How NTRVSTA works
NTRVSTA is a conversation, not a test. The candidate opens a link at any hour and talks with an AI interviewer that appears as a video avatar or speaks as audio only. Each answer shapes the next question: a confident, correct answer leads to a harder one, and a shaky answer leads to an easier one. You end up with a picture of where each person's skill tops out, plus how they explain their reasoning out loud.
The exam library covers programming languages (Java, Python, C++, JavaScript and more), frameworks and tools (React, Angular, Node.js, AI/ML, DevOps), and soft skills like communication and leadership. Behavioral questions use STAR, a hint system shows how a candidate responds to guidance, and system-design rounds get an interactive whiteboard. Interviews can be branded, customized per role, and run in multiple languages.
Recruiters get a score breakdown (technical skills, English proficiency, communication), video snippets of key moments, and a report they can share with hiring managers. AI resume scoring ranks every applicant against the job description first. NTRVSTA sits next to your ATS (Lever and others), and setup takes a few days for most teams.
How Vervoe works
Vervoe says its AI Assessment Builder drafts a role-based assessment from your job description. Candidates then complete job simulations and tasks in formats that fit the role: spreadsheets, code, video responses, written answers or multiple choice. Vervoe's machine-learning models grade and rank the results, and Vervoe says every score is explainable.
Before the assessment, Vervoe offers chat and voice screening, and afterward it helps schedule interviews with prepared panels. It also lists ID verification and cheating prevention, and its pricing page mentions advanced generative AI detection. A 120-day post-hire feedback loop links hiring scores to how people actually perform. Vervoe lists ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, SSO and regional data storage, and says it holds a verified Holistic AI NYC bias audit that is repeated each year. Customers it names include Dentsu, Australia Post, Kroll, TriNet and Rentokil.
When Vervoe is the better choice
- You trust work samples more than conversation, for example in roles where the output (a spreadsheet model, a written reply, a piece of code) is the whole job.
- You want to measure quality of hire. Vervoe's 120-day post-hire feedback loop is built for that, and we don't offer one.
- You need an API and webhooks now. Vervoe lists both, while ours is still "coming soon."
- You want regional data storage written into the contract, which Vervoe lists on its pricing page.
Some honest limits on our side. NTRVSTA is an interview and screening layer, not an ATS, and our native ATS list is short next to the big suites. For hourly hiring at very high volume with SMS apply and chat scheduling, Paradox or Fountain fit better. If you want trained human interviewers, a Karat-style service is a closer match. We're also a newer, smaller company with fewer published enterprise case studies. Many teams use both kinds of tool: a short skills test, then a live interview, or the reverse.
Pricing compared
Vervoe doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page shows a "Request pricing" button and a list of enterprise features (SSO, regional data storage, an uptime SLA, priority support), so expect a quote.
NTRVSTA's pricing is on our pricing page, metered in credits: 1 credit per minute for audio interviews and 3 per minute for avatar interviews.
- Free Demo ($0): 50 credits, one interview running at a time.
- Starter ($299/mo): 1,500 credits, roughly 30 interviews a month, up to 3 at once, with email support.
- Growth ($699/mo): 4,000 credits, roughly 80 interviews a month, up to 5 at once, with priority support.
- Scale ($1,999/mo): 12,500 credits, roughly 250 interviews a month, up to 15 at once, with priority support backed by an SLA.
- Enterprise (custom): a custom credit pool, SSO/SAML, a dedicated CSM, and an on-prem option.
On Growth, 80 interviews a month comes to about $8.74 per interview, or $0.35 per minute. A 25-minute audio interview uses 25 credits, and the avatar version uses 75. When you get Vervoe's quote, ask what one completed candidate assessment costs so you can compare like for like. Our AI interview pricing guide walks through that math.

Questions
Is Vervoe an AI interviewer?
Not in the live sense. Vervoe is a skills assessment platform that grades job simulations with machine learning. It offers chat and voice screening, but it doesn't describe a real-time adaptive AI interview. NTRVSTA runs a live AI interview by video avatar or audio.
Do Vervoe and NTRVSTA both have an NYC bias audit?
Yes. Vervoe says it holds a verified Holistic AI NYC bias audit and repeats it each year. NTRVSTA's NYC Local Law 144 bias audit by Asenion was finalized on October 20, 2026, and the summary is on our compliance page.
How much does Vervoe cost?
Vervoe doesn't publish prices, and its pricing page asks you to request a quote. NTRVSTA lists its plans publicly, from a $0 Free Demo to $1,999/mo for Scale, plus custom Enterprise.
Can I use Vervoe and NTRVSTA together?
Yes, if your process has room for both. A common pattern is a short skills simulation to filter the pool, then a live AI interview for the people who pass, or the other way around. Both work alongside your ATS.
If a live, adaptive first round sounds like the missing piece, book a 20-minute demo or run through a sample interview yourself. Our audit summary is on the compliance page.
