We should say up front that NTRVSTA wrote this Classet vs NTRVSTA comparison and sells one of the two products in it. Everything we say about Classet comes from Classet's own website, linked under Sources, so you can check it.
The short answer
Classet and NTRVSTA are two of the few tools in this space that publish both prices and a bias audit, so the choice comes down to what kind of interview you need. Choose Classet if you hire hourly and frontline workers and want an AI recruiter that phones every applicant, runs your script, and books the good ones. Choose NTRVSTA if you need a longer live interview, as a video avatar or audio, that adapts its questions and difficulty to each answer and can test engineers as well as non-technical candidates.
Side by side: Classet vs NTRVSTA
How NTRVSTA works
With NTRVSTA, the first round is a real conversation with an AI interviewer. Candidates open it whenever they like, 24/7, and talk to either a video avatar or an audio-only voice. Before that, AI resume scoring ranks the whole applicant pool against your job description, so you invite the right people.
The interviewer adapts in real time. Each answer shapes the next question and nudges the difficulty up or down, which tells you more than a pass or fail on a fixed list. You can run coding exams in languages like Java, Python, C++ and JavaScript, framework questions on React, Angular or Node.js, AI/ML and DevOps topics, system design on an interactive whiteboard, or soft-skill interviews built on the STAR method. Hints let you see how someone takes guidance.
Reports break scores into technical skills, English proficiency and communication, with video snippets of key moments and a link you can share with the hiring manager. You can brand the interview, choose or tailor the avatar, and run it in multiple languages. Most teams go live within a few days.
How Classet works
Classet built its product around an AI recruiter named Joy. Classet says Joy calls applicants soon after they apply for a first phone interview, using the employer's questions and must-haves, and answers candidates' questions during the call. Text and email follow-ups and interview scheduling come next, and a 24/7 Call-to-Apply line lets people start by phone. Classet says it works with each team to rebuild the questions, follow-ups and must-haves their best recruiter uses.
After each call, Classet checks the conversation against your criteria and labels the candidate Strong, Good, Borderline or Weak, quoting the candidate's own words as evidence. Classet says humans make every hiring decision, that PII is redacted before scoring, that criteria are checked for protected characteristics, and that Warden AI audits the system for bias every month.
Setup is quick by Classet's account: Hiring Hub accounts can go live the same day by connecting Indeed or pasting a job link. ATS Sync takes one to two weeks for most teams, longer for Workday and Dayforce. Published customers include Paladin Security, Flowers Foods, Happy's Car Wash and Ace Handyman Services.
When Classet is the better choice
- You hire hourly staff in trades, logistics, healthcare or car washes, and a short phone screen is the right first step.
- Your candidates would rather take a phone call than open a link on a laptop.
- You want an AI that also books interviews and follows up by text, with no extra scheduling tool.
- You post on Indeed and want to start screening applicants the same day.
Classet's sweet spot happens to sit right where NTRVSTA is weakest. We aren't built for high-volume hourly flows with SMS apply and chat scheduling, so tools like Classet, Paradox or Fountain fit that better. We're also not an ATS, our native ATS list is shorter than the big suites', and our API isn't available yet (it's marked coming soon). If you want human interviewers, a Karat-style service is a better match. And as a newer, smaller company, we have fewer published enterprise case studies.
Pricing compared
Both companies publish prices, which makes this an easier comparison than most. Classet's Hiring Hub starts at $249 a month billed annually, or $349 month-to-month, and includes 50 completed interviews. If you use all 50, that's about $4.98 per interview on the annual price. ATS Sync starts at $1,995 a month and is scoped on a discovery call. Every Classet account comes with 20 free interviews.
NTRVSTA uses credits per interview minute, shown on our pricing section: 1 credit a minute for audio and 3 for an avatar.
- Free Demo at $0: 50 credits and 1 concurrent interview.
- Starter at $299/mo: 1,500 credits, roughly 30 interviews a month, 3 concurrent, email support.
- Growth at $699/mo: 4,000 credits, roughly 80 interviews a month, 5 concurrent, priority support.
- Scale at $1,999/mo: 12,500 credits, roughly 250 interviews a month, 15 concurrent, priority support and SLA.
- Enterprise: custom credits with SSO/SAML, a dedicated CSM, and on-prem available.
On Growth, 80 interviews a month comes out near $8.74 each, or $0.35 a minute. A 25-minute audio interview takes 25 credits, and the avatar version takes 75. That gap with Classet's per-interview number mostly reflects length and purpose: a quick hourly phone screen and a 25-minute skills interview do different jobs. Our AI interview pricing guide shows how to compare them on equal terms.
